Sorry for your loss. We are going through the same problem since loosing my Mom. I was surfing the web and came up with this website. I might even be looking at doing this - temporarygravemarkers.com. They had a nice one for less then $30.00.

I am so sorry for your loss I know what your talking about but I don't know the name when my daughter passed away it was in January and they couldn't lay down the concrete until spring and it freaked me out thinking what if I won't know where my daughter is first the cemetary is where I bought her monument I couldn't buy a big one because where she is buried it's called babyland sad I know so I got a flat one for less than $400 I bought wreaths, flowers, and other fake flowers to mark her site I also bought a vase from the cemetary which only cost $50 and they were able to put it out there I would read the rules of the cemetary because of the caretakers throw things away at certain times and certain times of the year you can't have certain things out like for me N0v1-march 1 fake flowers and then on they have to be real sorry I couldn't give you the info I hope I helped out a little.

So sorry about your baby's passing. Those little crosses are called a Memorial Cross or sometimes referred to as an Intending Cross. They are quite popular among those of us that cannot afford a tombstone, and are a simple and sometimes more memorial than a tombstone.
