My OB scheduled my 2nd c-section at 39 weeks 2 days. A quality OB would want your baby to stay in as long as possible, 2 weeks is pretty early for a routine scheduled c-section without complications. Unless you have a special circumstance there is no reason you cannot go in to labor naturally and then go to the hospital for your c-section as planned, just on your body's timeline not the doctor's.

They usually schedule you a bit ahead of your due date just for that reason - to minimise the chances of you going into natural labor. Depending on your individual case, 2 weeks is not unreasonable and perfectly fine. But it may not necessarily be 2 weeks. Talk to your doctor about it.

I had a c-section with my second pregnancy. I went into labor a month and a half early. I was pregnant with twins. My OB ever said anything about wanting to put me in the hospital early. Maybe he should have..
