Pregnancy & Parenting - 24 February 2007

This is my first pregnancy, and I'm 26 weeks pregnant. Should I be feeling those Braxton Hicks contractions now? I have no idea what they feel like, so would I even know its happening? Can anyone describe how it feels?

the bedroom wall...my husband was furious that I didnt spank her...she always seems to get into something no matter how high we place it..she got in my purse and got a lip stick out and got it all over his paperwork he left sitting on the kitchen table..she climbs on tables...i am not super experinced being a young mother..help

I usally have a regular period with the IUD since it was inserted. It's been almost two years and for the first time missed my period. I took a pregnancy test after a week of the missed date it was negative. I'm still experiencing small cramps with breast tenderness. Help, on suggestions!

I took 5 pregnancy tests last week. All positive. I've been bleeding the entire time but the doctor who hasn't seen me yet thinks I"m fine and it's implantation bleeding. I took another test today. The line was very scant, you could hardly see it. Could I have miscarried. Is there any way I can find out without waiting until the weekend is over?

my four year old boy is pretty good most of the time....but around dinner times he turns in to a monster...running around...teasing the dog etc...we have bed time routine but he constantly asks for drinks...the toilet...the window to be put up or down the list is endless and as soon as i walk out the room he is calling me back...my husband works away 4 days of the weeks and if i am on my own .....i start off being calm but end up losing it after an hour or so of this...as i have had him for 12 to 13 hours on my own and just want a break....it dosnt seem to matter how angry i get he still keeps calling me back which frustrates me even more...any tips

I Have A Very Strong Gut Feeling That I'm Pregnant. I Have Some Symptoms.

I've Been Nauseous (sp?) For The Last Week & A Half, My Boobs Have Gotten Bigger & Are A Bit Sore, I Have A Backache & I Have to Pee Every 25 Minutes.

My Period Is Due To Be Here On Weds. The 28th & If I Am Pregnant, I'm About 3 & A Half Weeks.

I'm Fully Aware The Only Way To Know For Sure Is To Test But I Wanted To Know If Anyone Else Had A Gut Feeling That They Were Pregnant Before They Even Thought About Testing?

My husband and I are trying for a baby. However, every month right after I ovulate I get really tender breasts and cramps for 2 weeks until my period starts.

I think I had implatation bleeding 2 days ago. I already ovulated but I have no sore breasts and no cramping. This seems kind of backwards but I don't know.

Also 2 months ago we tried also. The same thing happened and I was a week late. I didn't take a pregnancy test because I wanted to make sure I was absolutely sure I could be. Then I was attacked at work and the very next day I started. Now I don't know if I was and if I miscarried from all the stress.

Is it possible to have these type of symtoms?

my son is just over 19mths trying hard with the potty training but he will not sit in the potty if i do manage to get him on say before a bath morning etc hes straight back up. i know some people think its to young but its also for health reasons he's allergic to certain nappies and huggies was the only ones i could use. now there irritating him (hes got infantile excema and his bum is red raw) really needs to get off the nappies. he does know when hes made a mistake with no nappy on he say Ot-O then tell me or try to wipe it up (bless him) PLEASE HELP

my wife started her period february 1st and ended february 5th. we had sex february 9th when i got my first leave from work. she noticed a discharge on february 13th. im thinking she ovulated some time around the 13th, is this correct? it's already the 24th and she's got a really bad migraine. we dont want kids as of yet since i only get to be home once or twice a week. her period is regular...so what could be the chances of pregnancy?

The doctors are going to induce my labor using cervadil and pitocin. What should I expect? At what point should I request pain relief?

Also, I understand that labor inductions do not always work. Had anyone had this experience?

i wondering if i can get pregnant if i had a sexual a day before my ovulation day(day 13th)? my bf did ejaculate inside me and i afraid that i will get pregnat. i tried some kind of pills to make my period day come earlier that i had bought at pharmacy.
i ate that pills a week after i having my sex.

My husband and I have been talking about having a baby the past month or so. I explained that I have been having a strong maternal instinct lately that tells me we should have a baby, but we both agreed to wait about another year for financial reasons...

Thursday he took a flight to new york for business. I found out 30 minutes later that I AM pregnant NOW---due in October. This will be pleasant news, but definately a surprise. Today he flies home and I need to announce the news.

#1) I tried to get him to go out tonight and he said he'd be too tired. So I have to tell him at home.

#2) I don't want to drag this out-- I want to tell others, and to tell them, I first have to tell the hubby--- so he needs to know today. I can't wait until he "finds" something or "figures it out".

What are your BEST suggestions?

ok here is my sitiuation I was on the nuva ring for about a year and I have recently stopped useing it about 3-4 months ago due to not having any health insurance. I was wondering if my peorids can be irregular for awhile due to not be on it? when I was on the BC I was pretty regular give or take a day or so. this month I am 10 days past due my peorid. (last month I was a week late and the month before that a couple of days) I have recently taken 2 test and both negetive. my partner and I do have unprotected sex but he always "pulls out" before. The only symptoms I have had are missing my peorid , I have felt crampy and that I have been really tired latley but thats it. Could I possibley be pregante or be at risk to get pregnate or is all this due to being off my birth control??
If anyone has any advice that would be extremly helpful cause I have tried to research online and I cant seem to find the answers I am looking for.

Why do some moms that breastfeed talk down to moms that bottlefeed. I was told by one mother that was a breastfeeder " that i must not love my kids enough to be so lazy . said. I must Bottle feed to make it easier at the risk of my childrens health".

There isnt anything wrong with bottle feeding in my view, My children were not able to breastfeed, the dr. said no due to the medications he had to give me after my kids arrived. So its not like I just chose against it, But should not matter the reason it was chose.

how far along do you have to be before castor oil works. im 35 weeks but they are going to be inducing me here in about 2 days but the doc said i could try to do it by myself at home. i was going to try castor oil im 1 cm dialated already but not effaced and i know it does work but im not sure how far along you have to be for it to actually help. Only positve feedback please.

My husband and I are never on our own. I'm glad they like being at home but there's never anywhere for us to sit. Cups are everywhere. The noise and bickering are horrendous and now the boyfriends come as well. The puppy is being wound up. There's football on the telly and I am at screaming pitch. In fact my husband and I end up going to Asda or go upstairs and lie on the bed. It's making us teasy with each other. I don't want to drive my kids away. (We chose to have them after all). How do you cope with this please?
