She have always erratic mensturation. Now she missed her mensturation for 40 days.

The best solution would be to see an obstetrics/gynecologist doctor who could do a blood test to ascertain whether she is pregnant or not.
Also the doctor could look into the erratic menstrual cycle.
If she began her last period Jan 14, then the next period should have started around Feb 14. Today is Feb 24, so she is around 10 days late, not 40.

It sounds like her cycle is getting longer. It might be due to pregnancy, but it is more likely reflecting changes in her body that are effecting her cycle. Has she recently gained or lost weight? Is she under a lot of stress? Any major lifestyle changes? Any of these things could be causing the delay in her period. The solution is to see a doctor and take a home pregnancy test.

Go to your gynaecologist and get pregnancy test done.
You can get it done at your home also.
It is Preg color card , buy it from a medical shop. It is accepted by the doctors also.

i guess she is, pls do a pregnancy test as soon as possible, its a blood test dat takes hardly any time or money. pls do it fast as it is not safe for ur wife 2 do abortion (in case) as it gets late,sooner d better.
