congrats, I was surprised at how well I knew my baby after he was born and so much came naturally. The other stuff is trial and error. Ask for advice if it sounds like good advice try it if it doesn't work no harm and try something else till you find your groove with your baby girl. Relax, don't worry, every mother makes mistakes yet our children grow up healthy. Surround yourself with others that have had babies that you can rely on for help.

Maybe you should of taken some parenting courses. I just had a baby girl and I never thought once about asking for help on how to take care of my baby. If you feel your not old enough to do this, then get some help.

Feed her lots in the daytime, keep her awake in the evening and establish a bedtime routine right from the start.
At night leave the lights out, don't talk too much and don't change her nappy unless it is dirty.
That will establish a good sleeping routine.

When you hold her for the first time you'll know. I know it sounds corny and unhelpful but honestly you will know how to care for her. Sure afterwards you may need some extra hands to help out so you can shower or eat. But, honestly once you look at her you'll have no question of what to do ;)
