I took 5 pregnancy tests last week. All positive. I've been bleeding the entire time but the doctor who hasn't seen me yet thinks I"m fine and it's implantation bleeding. I took another test today. The line was very scant, you could hardly see it. Could I have miscarried. Is there any way I can find out without waiting until the weekend is over?

Yes, when i miscarried i still showed positive the line just got less and less. Inplantation bleeding very rarely lasts more than a day so it probably not that. But to let you not 1/4 of all pregnancys have bleeding and as many as 4/5 dont miscarry. Their are other things it can be. Wait and see doc but go hospital if it gets worse.

The only way to know if you miscarried is by having hcg blood levels drawn. You need two values 48 hours apart to determine if the pregnancy is viable. The levels should at least double in that time frame. An ultrasound may or may not be helpful depending on how far along you are. If really early they may be able to see a gestational and yolk sac but not heart rate yet. If after about 6 to 7 weeks they should be able to see heart rate and measure the embryo to see it's size to make sure it correlates with your due date by period. Good luck, thoughts are with you. I have been in your shoes a few times and it sucks! The waiting is the worst. Just relax, take a nap. It gives you time to rest w/o having to think about and analyze every detail. I don't know all your details, like how heavy the bleeding is but i wish you the best. (You can email me thru answers if you would like to talk more)

Your best bet is to wait until you see a Dr. I know it's hard to wait tho! As for now, just stay calm and please don't stress, because it's bad for you and the baby. Most likely what you described to the Dr. over the phone is implantation bleeding, because if the Dr. tells you not to worry, don't worry. Stay stress free, go to the park or something, it's a benefit for you and the baby. Goodluck!
