I just heard on the news about baby bottles (they listed a few kinds) suddenly being unsafe. What's the deal on that? Anyone heard anything? All I know is I heard that Avent and Dr. Browns were two of them, I used both.

I usually don't get caught up in these bogus studies but thought I'd see what u were all thinking.

i've been off the pill for 6 months ago and have been ttc. the first month i was off the pill i was 2 weeks late getting my period. last month my period had gotten closer together by only being a week late. but this month im back to being over 2 weeks late. I took a pt and it was negitive, what could this mean?

I work in a daycare, and every tuesday and wednesdays they have to take the kids to church(the daycare is apart of a church) and on our way there the 20 moth olds I work with dart in frount of me and I tell them to stop but they don't listen and run off in the wrong direction. How can I get them to listen to me?

He was in hospital for jaundice.He was under the lights.He's home now but it's a struggle to get him to feed from the breast.He will do about 4 minutes then stop.He suck for a total of 14 mins in a one hour period.He feeds every 3 hours.Will using the breast milk in a bottle put him off the breast nipple?

Ok i really needed to ask this question, how excited is everyone out their that they are pregnant? Im 28 weeks and it just seems like the months are flying by and i cant get my mind off the baby. For some reason its really kicking in (literally and figuratively) that in 12 weeks (give or take a few) im going to have a baby :-). Anyone else want to share their excitement, stories, how your feeling, etc.?
P.S- i didnt find out if it is a boy or a girl so its making my wait even more exciting, anyone agree? :-) any answer is much appreciated!

ok, so dd has not had a bm in 3 days now. She use to be the queen of eating any baby food in the container, because she won't eat fresh fruit or veggies, so I could give her some prunes and that would help. Well now she is all of the sudden refusing all baby food. She is eating all carbs. Pancakes, bread, crackers. She is eating yogurt and cheese and now loves real bananas. Well that does not help my cause.I don’t want any advice telling me about what she is eating is not good(carbs) because she use to never eat and my pedi. Says it is fine. She is eating healthy things, just constipating things. She won't drink any juice so I am not sure what to do. We are on day 5 of no bottles(except the night one) and she is still refusing milk out of the cup. They are so funny. Oh well. She is eating other dairy. It is so funny how they change in an instant, like with the baby food. She would scarf that stuff down and literally 2 days ago she is refusing anything in a container. Any advice would help. thanks Debbie

At the start of Jan i had a throught infection, adn got put on antibiotics (cant remember wihich ones) that month i only came on for 2 days, where as i am usually on for 7. then this month have came on 8 days early, i wentto the doctors to get a repeat prescription on my pill and she brough up that i was on the antibiotics and asked if i had taken extra precotions, an i said i hadn't realised untill half way through the course of antibiotics that they knock your pill out of your system so i hadn't. And she said that i hadn't had a proper period, the bleeding was something called BRB which i think ment break through bleeding. I dont know what she ment by this, and i have had to send of for a pregnancy test. Can any body explain this to me properly, and tell me if you think i am or not?

My little boy is 2yrs 3 months and eats quite well - just wondering....when do all u parents out there feed ur little ones their MAIN hot meal of the day? At lunch time or evening?? i think i shall start giving my little boy his main meal in daytime as itll give him energy etc - in evening he isnt so active so surely that cant be good - heavy mean then no physical activity...?? Whats everyones opinion?

this is very odd situation. people talk to me on one day and stops the oder day even widout any communication , then the whole group stops becoz both my kids are doing fairly above average. one got double promotion this session and other is routine topper since the start from last 3 yrs in grade school. they are good in xtra curricular activities also. it becomes frustrating at times. how to deal with such children and their parents?

There is only one name that I really love and want to name my new baby. The problem is that my husbands step brother, that by the way, we only see once maybe twice a year and has a different last name has a daughter with this name! My husband and his family keep telling me that I can't choose that name because it will make people mad! I don't think that it is fair. I want to name my baby this name. And it's not to copy anbody, I've loved this name for a long time! What should I do? Is really that terrible to share this name?!

sometimes my mum and i get along great but sometimes she gets really tipsy and she cant pronounce her words and i get frustrated and then we start a fight. but this is what she does, she binge drinks by herself out in the backyard with a pack of ciggies, she smokes out the whole house out so i feel sick and THEN asks me why i dont want to live with her!!! but this isnt something that happens once in a while, she does it atleast 3 or 4 times a week. but when she does this i really dislike her, i almost hate her and i want to move in with my dad but by the time i talk to my dad our fight is over so its like all my anger and my excitement to get away from her was for no reason, so im happy that my fight is over with my mum but i no soon im going to have another one and wish i had moved in with my dad. help!!!!

My little boy is reaching 18 mths, but he can only say mamama and papapa and nana( banana ). I've tried teaching him other simple words but he don't seems to be interested at all. although he can't speak but he can understand what i tell him to do. Should i be worry or as long as he understand me he should be fine? I heard ppl saying a ear infection may be the cause i wonder how true it is and how do i know if he has a ear infection?

Well this pregnancy thing is freaking me out, im 2 days late on my period now and i cant stop thinking about pregnancy, i have been thinking about it since the day i had sex i realize i wasnt ready for it, i had sex once before and used a condom, okay well if this was about a month ago would it be possible for my stomach to be getting hard now? ive been peeing alot as well, the week after sex i had pressure on my stomach and felt nauseas but now, its just that swelling of my stomach and some cramping and also peeing alot, i dont know if my breast are bigger or not my head is playing tricks with me, i dont know what to do
