Somewhere in there your baby is or the growth because of your baby is probably pinching a back or leg nerve. It is so very common to get all diff kinds of aches and pains while pregnant. But you should speak to your doctor immediately any cramps in the pelvic area could possibly be bad.

I am 20 weeks pregnant. I have this pain running down my left leg mainly and in the pelvic area. Had it with my first pregnancy too. It is a combination of sciatica and a instability in the pelvic region due to increased hormones, the ligaments get lax and when you walk or move they hurt. It can get very painful. Nothing really can be done about it. The symptoms went away after I had the baby the last time. Hope this helps you.

ah yes. it sounds like some of us have this problem worse than others. i am 5 months preg. i've had this since 12 weeks along - starts as lower pelvic pain on my pubic bone and then radiates down my inner thighs. it gets worse when walking, exertion, or separating my legs. it's only getting worse. if this is what you have - it's called pubis symphisis and it's the softening of the pelvic ligaments and cartilage which makes the pelvis unstable. for me, it can be very painful. my OB has no sympathy about it but luckily i got a referral to see a physical therapist, who has helped me a lot. i have to ice the pelvis and keep my legs together at all times. walking for long periods makes it worse. feel free to email me if this sounds like what you have. i have had trouble getting advice on how to deal with it -and it's very frustrating.

could just be your baby kicking down there, but if it is constant and is worsened by anything involving opening your legs it could be your pelvis softening and opening too much its called SPD I'm 31weeks & have it at the moment, make sure you got to your midwife or doctors to get some help i left it too long and am now on crutches! but theres thing you can do to try prevent it getting so bad good luck

Hi, im 29 weeks and at about 23 weeks i had the same, i told the midwife and she referred me to physio. It is something to do with the pelvis softening ready for childbirth just a little to early. ask your midwife about it, she will sort you out.

i have bin given a large tubi grip type bandage i wear under my clothes and it really helps. feel free to email me if you want to chat.

You can get all different aches and pains when pregnant, your pelvis is going to be moving and this can cause pain. If you are worried speak to your doctor or midwife.

It's probably ligament pain. I'm 19 weeks & get it. But if your not sure, just give your Dr. a call. They get these calls all the time (that's how I found out)

it is likely just to be the baby pushing down on your pelvis and your muscles starting to change- but to be safe mention to your midwife/gp and they can check this out- all the best
