I need ideas for activities and hobbies that I can do during my free time. My husband has agreed to watch our three girls so I can have me time. It'll probably only be like once every week or two. And it can't cost a lot.

My friend had a vasectomy and something happened during the procedure that the Doctors told him it would be irreversible. Someone told me that there is still a way to "extract" sperm to be used for artifical insemination. Is this true?

My doctor said not to take the baby in to be treated because the infection would most likely go away on its own. I have to wash her eye out every few hours, and it is supposed to be pretty much gone by now. Well, the redness in the eye itself has gone, and the puss is no longer green, but there is a pretty red ring around her eye. the redness is getting worse and she is obviously bothered by that eye. so could it not be pink eye? should i demand to get into the doc?

Okay I thought we had agreed on child support & child custody now 5 days before we are suppose to go back to a San Diego judge, his lawyer sends something to my lawyer saying they don't agree to a couple of things.
1) He want 50/50 physical custody.
I understand the meaning my problem is in the last 3 months since we decided visition him with 9% and me with 91%, he has back out about a lot & only had her 5%. I have kept a journal since she was born. HE DOESN'T KNOW THAT
What should I do?
2) 50% of child care.
I am a ms student, I work about 18hrs a wk as a book keeper(I can take her with me). Right now he refuses to go with a daycare. He wants her to have nannies full time. I have a nanny and he has one that's how we split it. I told him after 5/20 I could no longer afford nannies and since I get funded for child care we should go with the day care on campus. He still wants a nanny in his office one day a week. Should I have to cover half or that? or only the daycare.
Help

What's the difference between the vaccines taken trough the mouth and the shots? I have a 5 months old and my pediatrician has the shots only.
But I have friends that say their babies are given the vaccines trough the mouth (not all the vaccines, but some). I always feel bad for my baby when they give him the shot...
How your baby gets his/her vaccines?

My boyfriend and I just found out we are having a baby boy.

I am 18 weeks pregnant and the whole time I've been pregnant, we've been picking out girl names because for some reason, I believed I was having a girl.

Now we are having all sorts of trouble figuring out a boys name.

My name is Emily and his name is Justice? My middle name is Danielle and his is Dean. Any way in combining those names and making something for a boy?

I am completing his baby record book and it has a page to take his foot and hand prints. I would prefer natural products - just wondering what other people may have used to do this?

I recently came down w/ a case of laryngitis. The bad news is, I'm also the caretaker of a 3 month old boy. I am constantly in close contact w/ him because of the fact that I have to feed him, etc... How likely is it that my boy's gonna get sick now, because I have to be around him all day?

I'd love to go back to the congregational meetings that I used to attend before the baby was born. But these meetings are at 7:30 - 8:30 pm, and my baby HAS to be in bed at around 8 - 8:30 pm, otherwise she gets very cranky.
I don't want to mess up my baby's sleep, she's a very good sleeper so long as we are home in the evening, play, eat dinner, give her a bath, a bottle... If I don't do all of that, it messes up her routine and she won't go to sleep ( I already posted a question about this)
What's the best way to get her adjusted to a later bedtime? And more importantly, do you think that I should even try to change her bedtime to (maybe) 9:30? Or is this TOO late for a 10 month old?
I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks very much for taking the time to read my question!

My son is not a affectionate little guy. He doesn't tend to like hugs. He does like to be held occasionally, even more when he's sick. Just overall he doesn't tend to ever want to get kiss and hugs from mommy and daddy. Is that normal for boys?
