The last name is Ezrow and big sister's name is Leah. We like feminine, classic names. But are struggling because we do not want a name that is too trendy.

My mom died pretty suddenly Feb 26 2007, I have been doing my best to explain to my children about grandma dieing and going up to heaven. My four year old doesn't seem to really grasp the concept of death, but she realizes that Grandma is not around anymore. My 2 year old doesn't understand at all. What do I do? If I show them I'm afraid they will try to wake her up and that will be so hard for me to see, and another worry is will they have dreams about it? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I read some answers on bedtimes and was very shocked. ( years old up until 11 pm? Professionals have stated children need anywhere from 10 to 12 hours of sleep at night. Going to bed at 11 pm and getting up for school at 7 am is 8 hours. Does the kids go right to sleep at 11 pm? Most likely not, even less sleep. With kids up this late, do the parents spend anytime alone together without the kids awake and walking around? Do you still have romance in your relationships? Or are you going to bed at 1pm and getting up at & am with the kids? Something seems wrong with the answers on how late kids are allowed to stay up. One answer was good with saying letting kids be awake should be with them not them alone watching what they want or doing what they want without looking at what is going on. These kids up until late with little sleep, are they getting up in the morning ready to go, having a good breakfast, that you made not them and you see them off? Or is the kid still asleep and hunrgy?

I just did like 5 different types of home pregnancy tests and they all came back positive (plus 2 yesturday! lol) It's a really bad time for me to be pregnant, my husband and I broke up (he was abusive) and so there's no chance of us getting back together. I haven't been working cos i only just left to start to find a place and a job. I do want to keep the baby, cos i always wanted a family, and I know eventually everything will work out. I am scared right now though and i dont know what to do. the job i was going to do is very physical, maybe i should look for secretarial work instead. that kind of thing. should i be moving house, lifting alot, getting divorced all at the same time.

well all moth ive been under super stress thinking about pregnancy, ever since my first encounter which was in febraury 1st, ever since the day after that happened ive been thinking i was pregnant i was getting symptoms the day after sex i dont get why we used a condom and it didnt break nor leak so how would it happen, well now im late for my period, and my breast are bigger, and i feel like my lower abdomen above my pelvic bone is hard/swollen..... can it be that im pregnant or that this whole time ive thought i was that it triggered something in my mind...my dad wants to take me to the doctor because i was having pain and he thinks it can be appendicitis, but i really doubt it would make my breast bigger, do you think i should worry about it, or do you think it could all be the intense stress and i should just go with him?

They said nothing to them but to a couple of 'naughty boys. I spoke to 2 other parents who said no but i waited until they asked their kids and they said the same thing. Hi sorry discipline, i dont think its the right word but couldnt think of what to say. My daughter had a tantrum outside a store yesterday, was screaming as she wanted to sit inthe trolley and not ont the seat (store forbids kids to sit in the trolley due to accidents. Anyway she started screaming so partner went into store and i took daughter back to car, she was screamign and screaming and i told her if she didnt stop i would give her a smack on the leg. I did this, a gentle tap before you say anything, she kept crying for a minute or so then said she would sit in the chair and could she go in the sotre, so we did. I hated smacking her on the leg and not something i have done before but she was screaming so much and i couldnt think of what to do, she wouldnt get in the car.....its no excuse i know but how would others of handle this. please dont think of me as a nasty person for this.

I have tried letting her have it just until she is nearly asleep and then removing it (the theory being that how they fall asleep is how they expect to remain all night), but she has wised up to this and now curls up to sleep with her hand protectively over her dummy! She also does this if she wakes in the night and I put it back to calm her, making it dificult to remove it. I have also found that this has a tendancy to wake her up so that it is harder for her to go back to sleep.

She doesn't use it during the day other than naptimes.

I'm not a fan of crying it out, does anyone have any suggestions? She is still far to young to reason with, but I would like to break this habit sooner rather than later.

So I was talking to this guy (Robby) for about 3 months, and the last time we were "together" was Valentines Day. Later that night I started my period. I was on my period for about a week, I'm on the pill so that was unusual for me to "break out". My regular time to start was that Sunday, well Sunday came and I never started. It is now 5 days later and I still havn't started. I'm really worried. I havn't told anyone about this, not even the guy (Robby). I don't know when I should start to really worry or even when or if I should tell him, because we arn't talking anymore. He just wants to be "friends". So I was hoping someone could give me some advice. Thanks.
