Pregnancy & Parenting - 28 February 2007

My daughter is 2 and a half and still in diapers. Today she had diarrhea, and soon after developed diaper rash and has been fierce ever since. The diaper rash is to the point where she is starting to walk funny cause it hurts so bad. I have been putting aveeno diaper cream on using pentan wipes when I change her and changing her as soon as she gets wet or poops. I put her in a sitz bath with aveeno soothing bath treatment. Her cries are breaking my heart though. I would let her go without a diaper but due to the diarreha I can't. Any suggestions

My son is literally driving me crazy!!! No matter what boundry I set he crosses it, usually with a grin. I have tried time out and everything. He is majorly defiant. Refuses to eat, insists on touching stove, very mean to his baby sister, very very greedy. I am trying to keep my cool and properly discipline at the same time...

I was wondering if you get a cervical exam and the doctors says your 4 centimeters dialated which part of labour would you be in and would he keep you in the hospital or send you home till contractions get closer together, cause im only having mild contractions every 30 mins, but almost half way dialated.. what would the procedure usually be for this situation

i have seen the baby gate that is sort of circular i think it has 6 or 8 side i am interested in buying that, my question is to any m,others that have that gate was your child able to push it over when inside? my daughter is 10 months old and is standing up holding on to everything i am concerned that she would put all her weight on it and it would tip over, has this happened with any other children? thanks just wondering before i buy it

My doctor listened to the heartbeat a few days ago. It was loud. Then he told me in a month, he will schedule me for an ultrasound. Then he said, from their I will find out whether if I'm a boy or girl (if the baby cooperates), then he said and we will also find out if you are having twins or multiples. I was surprise he said cause, wouldn't he able to tell from listening to the heartbeat? Please, any twin mothers answer my question. Did any of you listen to the heartbeat and only heard one and then ultrasound confirmed you are carrying more than one???????

my doctor tested me for a virus he said 1 in 3 pregnant women have and carry for years undetected. He said its not harmful to me but could be to the baby if passed on. the nurse said i would be given antibotics during delivery. what is it called and possibly some background info on it?

well i had unprotective sex and i kno i shouldnt of, but i did and i cant take that back. well i had sex about a month ago. but i came on my period but it was a few days early it was kinda normal i think now a week after my period im starting to feel really werid. i have acheing pains at the bottem of my back, tops of my legs ache, my nipples are sore, my bellys boated, came out in spots what never happens, headaches and feel light headed. and the other night i had a nose bleed for the first time in my life (don't kno if thats anything to do with it). so im sort of confused. do you think i could be pregnant? has any one who's been pregnant felt like that before? thanks

i get my periods on 23 days ...but this time its 28 day still i didn't get my periods....so pls help me ...when will i have to do pregnency test...i got merrid in july 2003 ....in dec 2003 i did Appendix surgery ,.... and i n Feb 2005 i did Ectopic Surgery and now i have only on Left Tube....but i have both overies....but i after ectopic surgery this is the first time to delay my periods.....so pls help me .....i can't understand what to do? but i want my child.........thanks a lot for your useful advise..... My 3 month old gets sleepy 1 to 1 1/2 hours after waking up from naps or after waking up in the morning. Is it normal for him to get tired so quickly? I put him in his crib 1 1/2 hours after he wakes up and he gets to sleep pretty easily. He sleeps at night from 7pm to 6 am (he wakes up once for a feeding) and his naps range anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, so most days he has 4 naps. Should i try keeping him up 2 hours between naps even though he is tired enough to fall asleep every 1 1/2 hours? Is he lethargic enough where i should talk to his doctor or is this normal?Is this a symptom of being sick or not getting enough food? He eats about 5 oz every 2 1/2 to 4 hours so i don't think he's not getting enough food. He seems ok in all other fronts except he's been a little constipated this last week :(

I haven't missed a dose yet and I've been on it since the 16th. I used other birth control with it for the first week.

Im 5ft 4 in i weigh 120lbs & i have been gaining weight or i look like im gettin fatter. but im not sure if this means im pregnant. I had sex on Feb. 17 and its now Feb. 28. Im supposed to start my period on march 10th or 11th could i notice if i was pregnant in this short amount of time?
