why do you think that your parents would not see it?
ok, so you decide to do it...
cleans the ear lobe with a 50% solution of peroxide and alcohol.
then take an ice cube and numb up each side of the lobe, then take the largest sweing needle that you have on hand (after you heat the tip with a match) and shove it through. Pull the needle out and immediately put the earring in. The leave it in for 2 weeks unmolested...Turn the ring several times a day and apply the peroxide and alcohol solution 3-4 times daily....
watch for redness, increased pain, and drainage...if so, you may have an infection and remove the ring...giveit a few weeks to heal and try again...
do not try this at home if you wantto pierce your cartilage as this is more dangerous...things need to be more sterile in this case because if cartilage gets infected it could be a cosmetic nightmare...
good luck

yes, your parents will find out, they're ears, they're right there on your head, unless your parents are blind they are going to notice. That said, if you're going to pierce them anyway, at least do it right. I pierced my ears when I was like 16, alot of people have. I used a needle and a cork. mark the spots first so they'll be even. and sterilize your needle by boiling it or holding it over a flame until it turns red (then for god sake's let it cool down for before poking yourself with it). Be careful to keep the piercing clean, turn it every day but don't sit there and play with it or it'll get infected. and leave it in for a least six weeks. Ear lobes aren't too hard, just don't try the cartilage at the top or anything more exotic.

I'm not really sure how to do it, but I've had several friends do it, and not turn out too well :/
Yes, your parents will find out. Maybe not right away, but a few days or weeks and they will (they're not as dumb as we think!)
If your parents won't let you get your ears pierced I think that's crazy. I'm 13 and I've got both my ears double pierced and one with cartilage pierced with my parents permission.
Think about this: why won't your parents let you pierce your ears?
Find a way to convince them otherwise of that reason.
Some people think it's self mutilation. Well, they're probably right, I mean think about it you're putting a hole in yourself.
Your parents would probably rather just take you to get it done than risk you doing it yourself.
If parents hold you back from things, you really just end up doing it more. My mom is pretty cool, I wish more parents got that.
If they won't let you get your ears pierced, I think they're to strict, you should be able to make your own decisions for things like that, it's your body, your choice.

Piercing your own ear is never a good idea. Sewing needles and such are unsterile and can cause blood disease that can stay with you your entire life. Many people who do their own piercings end up with hypertrophic scars on the backs of their ears, which are lumps that can be unpleasing to the eye. You can go to any local mall or Claires store and have your ears professionally pierced with a parents' approval. Try to explain to your parents that you want your ears pierced and that you will take care of the piercing.

First, if the holes are not even, they will look dumb, so I would reccomend going to a professional. Be careful, you will end up with the holes forever, so make sure this is something you want forever and ever. Second, your parents will notice, they have seen you like you are every day, and do you really think they will never notice this? Think this through before doing anything. If you can, try to talk to them and convince them... they will respect you for coming to them, and maybe they will realize you are at an age that you can make this decision.

You are about to put two permanent holes in your ears. By Yourself. Aside from all the things that could go wrong.....infection etc, have you really thought about the consequences of doing that? Your parents will certainly find out. Do you really expect them to not notice the holes in your ears until the time you move out- parents can be dumb, but not THAT dumb. When they find out you will probably be soooo grounded. And the next time you want to do anything all they will be able to think about is how can we trust her????? I'd advise you to definitely not do it!!!!!

I've done my ears, my friends have done them too.
Do the lobs, you cant damage yourself there.
My friends put apples behind their ears and they numb them with ice cubes.
I did it slowly and it numbs it itself.
Make sure your needle is clean, boiling it in water for 6minutes. Mark where you want the holes.
Clean the piercings or they'll get infected.

Oh, don't do that!! It will not only hurt like hell, there's a high likelihood of it getting infected. There are lots of places you can go to get it pierced.
