my daughter is 30 weeks pregnant. she so much wants to breastfeed, but is having trouble with her nipples.They are very itchy and she is leaking abit.she isnt itching anywhere else,Is there anyone who can give her advese as trying to see her midwife is a nightmare

I am 28 weeks along. My daughter has lice. How do I treat it? I heard the treatments are bad for pregnant women, is this true? I will be calling my doctor as soon as her office opens but in the mean time I was just wondering. If I get them I am just going to shave my head!! Thanks for your responses.

I posted a question on here last night about the same thing kinda, but i have another question. im 36 weeks but only measuring 32 weeks. im thinking all kinda of horrible thoughts , about iugr (interuterine growth restriction) and what not but maybe nothing is wrong ... has anyone ever measured small, up to 4 weeks or more, and end up having nothing wrong with the baby ? or if you did, what was wrong ? how do they diagnos iugr ?

I am married, but dont want to get pregnant at this moment. Before starting with the pill, we did use a condom, but when I was in my periods the first day and the last day of my periods we used to have sex without a condom, I didnt get pregnant, but still want to know if I can get pregnant by doing it that way.

i was collecting my 2 1/2 yr old son from nursery. and they make sure u are in the buildie children go well i wasnt even in the grounds before they let him runn off into the middle of the road!!!!! i was terrified. i marched into the building and went mad at the woman that runs the nursery. she gave me a poor excuse of well he saw me so i let him go. their government rules state no child is allowed to go unless they are under full supervision from their parent or guardian!! alot of the other mums saw this and also kiked up. i realise this was foolish of my son to do this but comparing the mind of a 2 yr old to a 38 yr old i think i know who is to blame. the doors should be shut untill parents are there to collect. do i take a next step for the concern of other children if so what????

I asked a question yesterday asking if you could be pregnant even tho you got your period only 1 week afte sex. Some people werent clear on what i meant. what I meant was does that period count because it was only 1 week after ?? and i do realize the different between spotting and a period and it wasnt spotting

last night I could not sleep at all, I kept waking up every hour, for no reason, I was not in pain or anything. I stayed up officially at 6am, and I AM WIDE AWAKE! which is odd because I can usually sleep until 12pm without waking up once.

when I went to the bathroom this morning I had loose stools? I heard this is a sign of going into labor..has anybody else experienced any of these signs & if so, how long before your little one was finally here?

Ok I am 43 and i have 13 kids(one more on the way).The 2 oldest are doing fine but my 2 boys arent doing that great! They are both in the army...The oldest chris has a son....and was recently MIA and found....He is in ICU here in RI. He has been in a coma for a week now! My 2nd son is also in the Amry but currently out for a knee injury. However he did not take to how his brother is doing to well. He is into drugs and has a i dont care attitude!i dont know how to help him?I dont want him to lose his girlfriend and everything he has but he is talking about suicide and I caught him smoking weed in the bathroom last night?

My 10 month old started getting diaper rash last night but nothing that made me think twice really, I just put some cream on him. He doesnt get very often though and he was unusally super upset last night. This morning when I was gettig him ready for the day, his little bottom was BLEEDING!!! I have never seen this. I am freakin out and staying home from work. His doctor does not open till 1 pm today. Has this happen to anyone befor? what should I do till I can call his doctor?

She went on Saturday and a lillte bit yesterday and it was really painful for her. I will spare you the details but as a Grandma who has seen a lot, it was one of the worst experiences of my life!!! What can we do to get that poop out of her!!!???

Very bad situation and I don't know what to do. I do not think he is going to marry me. In the past, he has said he doesn't want another child.

I have never considered abortion. I've always felt it is wrong. But now... I find myself wondering about it, and it scares me.

I love this man with all of my heart, despite his flaws and current connections to a past relationship (she lives over 1,000 miles away, and has their adoptive daughter.) He keeps saying he does not want another child... He does have a biological child from years ago, and he was conceived out of wedlock. He married the mother... they divorced after a couple of years.

So basically he is saying he can't take care of the child he has now, and does not want another one.

Why did he choose to marry the other woman, but not me? Why did he choose to adopt a child, but not accept mine?

I'm lost and hurt and scared. I just don't know what to do. : (

Here is my situation.... I do take birth control pills first of all ( ortho-tri-cyclen). I was on my period last week so I obviously wasn't taking the "active pills" Sunday my period ended and I started back up with the "active white pills" I took them Sunday and then Monday I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I've been on the birth control pill for three months now but I was just concerned because of the fact that I had unprotected sex two days after my period and since I wasn't taking the active pills the previous week I was wondering if the birth control pill would still be effective. Please let me know your opinion.

My husband came down with a 24 hr. stomach flu 2 weekends ago. I woke up 3 days later nauseated and throwing up. That was my week 3 of Birth Control of the month. Right now I am on week 4 (the off week/period week) I usually start my period on a Tues. However, I started spotting on Monday. Which is completely rare, as that my periods are like clockwork and exactly the same each month. And as of now, my period is 20% of what it is normally, which would be full throttle. So I am wondering...can this be a pregnancy sign? Could I have not had a stomach flu last week like I thought and Morning sickness instead? Not sure when morning sickness can kick in......

I am pretty sure we did have sex w/o a condom sometime mid-cycle.

Its 3 weeks since i had my last period.I have taken hpt which is weakly positive.I have continous abdomen pain n back pain.Since two days i feel kind of numbness in my legs too.I feel pukish when i wear tight necked clothes.Is it symptom of pregnancy.I m waiting to take another test after i miss my period.But periods like pain is alarming me.Is it serious matter?

My husband and I are looking to adopt a baby. We’d prefer a domestic adoption, but we still cant afford an adoption agency. I’d really like a newborn for my first. I want the whole experience. Later we plan to adopt a child from foster care. I know many people say if you cant afford an agency how can you afford a child, but not a lot of people realize agencies generally cost about 25,000. I bought a pregnancy test that creates a plus sign if your pregnant and a minus if your not. Well when I took the test out of the package it had a visible minus sign already on it. Does this mean that it is faulty or is that just how they come?

Hello, been trying for my second child, i was due on my period on monday and still have not come on, i have taken two tests and they are coming up with a very faint line on both, so not sue what to think as with my first child i had a very clear dark line.
just wondered if anyone else has had the same and what the outcome was. i am going to docs to do test with them tommorrow. but just thought i would ask on here as well.

i want to breastfeed but im not sure to..since i have been eating spicy food during these days and everyday i have been getting heartburn...my doctor told me im due anyday now,,,what can I do to improve my milk supply..i know i dont leak until the baby is born..but will eating spicy harm baby? this is my second baby and i regret not breastfeeding my first ... i dont want to regret this time.
