Hello, been trying for my second child, i was due on my period on monday and still have not come on, i have taken two tests and they are coming up with a very faint line on both, so not sue what to think as with my first child i had a very clear dark line.
just wondered if anyone else has had the same and what the outcome was. i am going to docs to do test with them tommorrow. but just thought i would ask on here as well.

girl u probably are pregnant, no matter how faint the line!! Luckyyyyyy!! We're trying to conceive our second child too, no luck yet. congrats! :o)

hi, im due on today and also took a test and got a very faint pos, i took it with a pinch of salt and assume it should be neg, I'm going to test again Saturday if no period. there is such a thing as evaporation lines in pregnancy tests, theres a fine line though between a faint pos and an evaporation line. as you are only 2 days late i would test again in 24-36 hrs time using first morning urine, if the docs dont help you. i wish you all the luck for a pos, as do i for myself lol. Try not to get stressed as this can delay your period which in turn can make you believe you are pregnant. Some tests only read 25 or more hcg so maybe your level isnt high enough yet. Give it a few more days and check again. If you are a very regular person it may just be that you havent had enough time for it to show up good on the test. The test looks for certain enzymes in your body that are only there when pregnant so the faint line may mean only some enzymes but not enough yet to show up on the test.

You very well could be, and you have just not produced enough hormone to make a darker line. I took a test on Sunday which was very faint but yesterday was a lot darker. Depending on the brand of test, they say if there is a line not matter how faint, then you are pregnant!

I went and bought a pregnancy test that stated in black and white "Pregnant or Not Pregnant". Those digital indicators are awesome! I had the same problem with the faint line, but if it's even a hint of a line, it's a positive. For your sanity, go buy the digital pregnancy test.

you are definatly pregnant congratulations, i had a test come up with a very faint line and was unsure if it was positive so i phoned the help line no they give you on the instructions, they basically told me that no matter how faint the line is you are still pregnant as there has to have been pregnancy hormones there for it to be detected, i now have a very healthy little boy, good luck

No matter how faint or how dark the line appeared because the pregnancy hormone has been released into your body. You are most likely pregnant go to the doctor. If they took a test like you did and a faint line appeared your doctor would tell you that you are pregnant so......

I took a test before my missed period and got a very very faint positive. I had to have my kids and husband look at it just to be sure. So i took about 6 more (lol i know) and they were all the same. A few days after my missed period, the line got darker and my Dr then confirmed it. Pregnant! Good luck to you :)

It doesn't matter if the line is faint if you can see it your pregnant. I was the same with my second but I knew before my period was late that I was pregnant just from how I felt at the time.Try again once your a week late and you may find its a lot brighter. Congratulations x

Yes this happen to me with my third pregnancy, but I didn't go thru with the pregnancy, but the lines do not have to both be dark as long as you can see two lines you are probably sooooooo pregnant just wait a day or so and get another test this should tell all :) Good Luck!!!

a faint line is still a line, with my first pregnancy i only had a very faint line, but still pregnant just not a lot of strength in the hormones at the time that make that little pink line appear. CONGRATULATIONS.............. now go put your feet up, you need your rest!
