Relax.enjoy the company of your son, and do something just for you, something that you have been wanting to do but have not yet done it.And maybe take your son and let him purchase the coming home out fit for his little brother or sissy. And before you go tonight i would sit down and write a long letter to your husband letting him know what you are thinking and feeling and let him know you understand why he is not there and that you love him.I am very sure this is hectic on him to,he wants to be there by your side for this blessing.I wish he could be with you as you need him right now more than ever. And when you talk to him tell him we thank him for what he does, and we thank you also for standing beside him as he protects us all.You will be in my thoughts and prayers and i wish you the best of luck.May God bless you both and keep you all safe!!!keep your head up your hubby will be with you in heart, mind, body and spirit!

First of all, congrats you must be really excited that the day has finally come. If I were you I would find anything and everything that I possibly could to waste the time away. Go shopping, double check your bag for hospital, make sure everything is in order at home so when you return with baby there isn't much to be done other than care for baby and sibling. Hope this helps, best of luck.

Make sure the house is clean and maybe prepare a few meals ahead of time that you can freeze. Most importantly sleep! Labor and birth is so much easier when you are well rested! Maybe find someone who can watch your son for a while too. So that you can have a little time for yourself. You're going to be really busy very soon and you won't have much time for yourself!
Best of luck with everything!

First check to see if you have everything ready for you two year old. I would even take a picture of your son and let him know you will be holding his picture while you have his brother or sister. * If he is not going to be with you*
Make sure you have everything packed you want. Take a note pad with you just incase you need something and a friend can go back and get it. with it writen down it makes it easier for them to find it.
Have a picture of Daddy with you. You can use it as a focal point during labor.
Do you have time to freeze a few dinners? Go shopping and stock up on the things your two year old and yourself like to eat.
Take a nap!!!! You have a long night a head of you. It is hard to settle down and rest in the hospital. In pain or not.
Congrats hun

Spend time with your two year old, check your bag make sure you have everything you need, make a list of people to call and put on telephone numbers (my husband couldnt remember his own birthday when we had ours-so overwhelmed), take a nap you may be up all night, check the baby supplies and make sure you can get by a couple days without going out(you may not feel like it). Congrats!! and tell your husband Thanks for serving our country!!

You should try to rest as much as possible- I know how hard that will be with a 2 years old and being excited, but you won't get a good night sleep tonight, and pushing will be much easier if you are rested!!! Congrats and Good luck!! :)
