Sounds gross but mayonase. Seriously, just as soon as she gets home from school, put mayo all through her hair ~ lay it on thick. then wrap her hair in some plasic wrap (only if she's old enough to understand that it can suffocate her) .
Then put it up in a towl.
This actually works better than the lice shampoo that is out there. So many people have misused the shampoos that the lice have sort of become superbugs and don't end up dying from the chemicals in it.
Also, Mama, take all of her stuffed toys and pillows and put them into a plarge plastic bag. Tie it up and let it sit in the garage for 2 weeks. This will suffocate the bugs and any further bugs that might hatch.
Vaccume your entire house dailey and take the vaccume bag or entire vaccume outside and away from fibers that lice can lay eggs on.
You can purchase some of the spray for her bed and your couches and charis, but I suggest letting someone else do the spraying for you since you're pregnant.
You will have to repeat the maynonaise thing again in a week and then a week after that in order to catch all of the hatching eggs.
It suffocates the little things and is a great natural way to get rid of them. Also, it's good for her hair!!

Ohh I'm sorry to hear that, as if we don't have enough to deal with as it is!! They have plenty of over the ocunter treatmeants, I'm sure they will work, and I would make sure that you sterilize everything in your house!-New sheets! As for doing any harm to you while being pregnant-I doubt it-if the fumes get to be to much to handle, go outside and get some fresh air! Good Luck

ask your doctor he may suggest a mask to treat your daughters head, and if you do end up getting it, he may suggest you have someone else treat you, and wear a mask.
