He is still your father and you should never be embarrased by his age. My father was 45 when he married my mom who was 25 and they had 7 kids. The youngest born when he was 63, the age your father is now. None of us ever considered him an embarrassment - he was just our dad. When you love someone, as you say you love your dad, proudly let your friends know when they make comments that he is your dad. Spend as much trime as possible with him, because he may not live long enough to see you graduate from highschool. So treasure every moment you have with him and be proud of him.

In that case, age is just a number. He is still the same person he would be if he was 15 years younger. Do you think you would love him more if he was younger or vice versa? Plus who cares!!!! He is still the same dad and you are still the same daughter.

well i dont think your dad was too old to have you if hes such a great dad to you and you love him so much. just remember a father daughter bond is a very special thing and you shoud cherish it forever. tell him everyday how much you love him and how great of a dad he is to you. you have something very special and when you are in a bad situation in your life about to do somethiing really stupid just think about him and how he would feel if you dissappointed him. it could change your life.

No. There may have been lots of reasons they waited to have you. So what he is old, he is your father and loves you it shouldn't matter what people think. People are going to stare and point at anything sometimes you just got to ignore it.

Honey, why dont you ask him why they waited so long to have you? THey might have made the best decison.... becasue they were more mature and were ready to have a baby. They might have become the pest parents because of this... I dont hink it is bad he made that decision... but ask him why... might be a great time to talk

Instead of worrying about his age, why don't you enjoy the time you still have with him while it lasts and be thankful that you have a dad?

He is a little on the old side, (no offense) but you love him, so that's all that matters. Are you sure he is your real dad though?
