Did anyone else feel scatter-brained while pregnant or is it just me? I just feel completely incompetent at work lately...

YESSSS....

A recent study... I read somewhere... actually concluded that due to the increases in hormones a woman's brain actually shrinks during pregnancy.

You'll return to your normal self after the baby gets here (a sleep deprived verson of your normal self, that is). In the meantime, if you learn anything new, do yourself a favor and write it down. You're also less inclined to retain any information that you might need to know if you learn it during pregnancy.

Hormones suck.

I call that MOMMY MUSH BRAIN!!! I had it the whole time I was pregnant. I wish I could tell you it goes away but I still find myself doing silly things. Like giving my child a bath and forgetting to take her socks off!! You are normal do not worry!

It's not you. Every time I get pregnant I start forgetting everything. And more tired so you don't function at full capacity so don't worry you're not alone.
