Do any of you know any tricks? Or good ideas that can teach a child how to use the potty?
My cousins Daughter learned before she was two, her babysitter taught her. My daughter is only 18 months but is very interested in the potty , so we bought her, her own. I know this is early, but The Dr. said it's good to get the potty early even if it takes another year for her to learn, but at least she will be acquainted with it.

And Also I've heard other people who have taught their children how to use the potty before age two. Please Give me all the potty tips you can =) Go On Mommas and daddys You know you want to share your success stories=)

I read many passages about the pants down spanking here and see that I works for many families.

I was spanked in the same way as a child and I am now almost 25. I believe that it works for me at last resort. I have been spanked in this way for less than 10 times.

My mum would pull down my pants to spank when I was really bad and in serious situation as a punishment. Notice, it's whole pants and underwear down. Keep the frontal nudity not only on the bottom.

Once I was spanked in this way, I will try my best to behave well and my mum did not spank without any reasons

Therefore, I have some questions here:
1.The whole pant and panties down also to make frontal nudity or just bare the bottom?
2.For every spanking, pant and panties need to pulled down?
3.You pull down or order your kids to pull down themselves?(I was asked to pull down once)
4.Did you ask their feeling about the spanking after that?If yes, how did they answer?

Please advise. Thanks a lot.

I've asked so many questions on here but I love to hear others views. Me and my ex of 7 years broke up and he moved 2000 miles away..Well, he moved before we broke up..I know there isn't another woman. I am pregnant with his child and we are very young...22 & 23. We had our wedding planned before the baby. Dr. said I would never be able to have kids..my ex wanted one and I ended up getting pregnant. We wasn't trying because of what the Dr. told me. He was very excited while I was kind of depressed because I wanted to be married and have my degree. Now, I wish he comes back and I know alot of people thinks that is stupid. We had a pretty good relationship, His father walked out on him as a baby. He tells me he misses me and loves me but picks stupid fights..Does distance really make the heart grow fonder?? I told him last night we shouldn't talk until we clear our heads..Has this every happened to anyone?

I was never diagnosed with PPD but alot of people told me I had the symptoms of it. I can't really afford to go to the dr. So I just bared with it and tried to make it through hoping that it would just go away.

I have been, recently, having more and more disturbing images pop into my head for no reason and they are so bad that I just want to throw up. For instance today I was out side with my brother holding a gun because he was cleaning up around my mom and my families house and the gun was for protection against venimous snakes that might be under some of the things he was moving around and hauling off.

Well I looked over at my son, who was in a play pen on the pourch so he would be safely out of the way and still be in eye view, and for some reason the image of him with a bullet hole through is forehead popped into my head and him lieing in the play pen with blood all around him.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the chances are of being pregnant and still getting a period. I have known of people this happened to, but I don't know how rare this is.

I had my period 2 weeks ago, but starting then I have felt sick to my stomach ever since. Occasional nausea before lunch and sometimes dinner which goes away when I eat, and BM problems almost every day. No other pregnancy symptoms. I always use protection, so it's most likely something else going on, but does anyone know roughly what the chances are of having a period while pregnant? A nearly normal period, not just spotting.

Last of her first day menstruation was 14-Jan-07. Still she missed her mensus.
We made twice Pregnancy test, first on 20th Feb and second on 28th Feb. Both showed negative result.
Calculate from first day of her mensus upto today are 46days.
Please share with me your thaughts and solution. How long I should wait for to know her pregnancy result?

She is 2 years old. I figure it would be a great way to get in some extra vitamins while she is going thru this picky eating stage. My baby girl is 24 W 5days and she is usually pretty quiet. My placenta is on the anterior so I think it cushions lots of her movements. She is usually a mover in the morning after breakfast and around 11pm. Yesterday she was so quiet I was worried. But tonight she is moving like crazy. Her movements are far more frequent than usual. I watch anywhere from 13-30 kids every monday and wednesday night and I need to know some fun things to do. They are all hispanic kids whose parents are in an english class! I watch them for 2 hours a night in a elmentary cafeteria! They get so bored and go crazy and they make me want to pull my hair out! They range form 1 year old up to middle school age!!! Guys , Help a father !!!!! My daughter is 7 months old and she doen't take anything for long . I mean I have tried mashed banana , grapes , pulses etc and formula food . All this apart from breast milk of course but she isn't taking anything much . In short ...she isn't eating enough ... In to-days socielty, young single unemployed girls are getting pregnant and expect the state to provide for them.
