The pill or pill/injection combination of abortion only works in the first 2 months. A woman must be 8-9 weeks or LESS for it to even work. It first stops fetal growth, so at 5 months it's too late for pills.

yes it is , and i really do not know a doctor that is going to do it that long along, she only has 4 months left, and most doctor do not like to do it in the first place. They do it cause they do not want the women to go to a crack that can bleed her to death, or make sure she can never have anymore kids. If you do not want the child you can tell the hospital, they will find a family that can not have childern, that would love to have the child. Even when they are still at the age of abording, they have to kill the living child, and chop it up, and take it out, cause babys are quit large, and doctors really do not like taking life, that way , or anyway, they went to medital school to help, not kill. So really think about this before you do somethig stupid.

i am pro choice but this is not a choice
but the laws here in my state are no abortion after 14 weeks that is 3 1/2 months
and medically there is a very high chance this baby will live outside of the mother at 5 months

No the abortion pill can only be used for the first trimester. I have a question for you. Did you know that at 3 weeks after you conceived your child his/her heart was beating. Everything that is going to be there at birth is there now, just smaller- please do not abort- adoption is such a wonderful option if you cannot raise the child yourself. Please give life to your child, you will never regret it- an abortion can cause physical and emotional risks to you that can last a very long time- email me if you want to "talk".

Nope. An abortion in the 5th month is considered a "late term" abortion...after the 22nd week no doctor in the U.S. will perform the procedure because it is against the law after the 22nd week. IF you're planning on having the procedure done I suggest you do it soon otherwise you're going to have to make other decisions as your options will no longer include abortion. And it does NOT take two appointments...SHEESH Obviously education has been wasted somewhere...

first of all, if its an abortion its abvoius that it is "AFTER PREGNANCY" otherwise what would ou abort ;) ya know? and to answer, after 5 months its kinda late. u know?
even if u go to a doc to get an abortion, wouldnt be abortion anymore, uve got until 3 months, even 4 but 5 already a person. it has a heart and brain. good luck thou
