She is 2 years old. I figure it would be a great way to get in some extra vitamins while she is going thru this picky eating stage. It doesnt have any warnings on the box or anything, so I figure it could do nothing but good. Wondering if anyone else has tried this or heard anything about it. Thanks!

I personally use the vanilla flavor, and when it is added to enough milk, it barely tastes different. Also, giving her real fruits and veggies is fine and well, except the soil in America is so depleted of nutrients that our produce has only a tiny fraction of the vitamins and nutrients that it is meant to. Its like... empty now. And vitamins are a bunch of baloney. Only 10% of them are even absorbed by the body, and of that, only 2% is PROPERLY used by the body. The only other option I see is to give her foods and drinks that have the vitamins ADDED to them. I figured the drink mix sounded like yet another great way to get more vitamins in her diet.
How much iron is too much??????

Yes I have done it before. Mine is almost 3 now and has had the carnation instant breakfast many many times. She is just fine. I have used the chocolate one as well as all the others. We have even made smoothies out of them. Chocolate banana smoothie. Mine used to drink that at least 4 times a week for breakfast (the smoothie that is) It's just milk, carnation instant breakfast, a banana, and a little ice.
Don't listen to thos that say it is full of sugar. My daughters Dr. said it was actually better than plain chocolate syrup.
Mine hated the pediasure crap. Have any of you that are recomending it ever tried it? It is terrible. I wouldn't even drink that crap let alone would I feed it to my kids.

I wouldn't give my 2 year old that crap. It's nothing but sugar With a few vitamins added so it can be called "breakfast". It is no more "nutritous" than putting chocolate milk on top of cocoa puffs in the morning but if you want your child to have all that sugar go right ahead.

if you can afford the high priced pediasure(chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry) they have them at wal-mart and your local grocery store. I recommend this because it is balanced and nutritional for ages 1-10. a meal replacement if they did not eat. Has all the essentials, fat, calories, vitamins, minerals, calcium, etc.. it was designed for these reasons you are bring up. my daughter loves the chocolate. I don't see a problem at all if you give her the carnation, but it is loaded with sugar. Have fun good luck. Oh my daughter also loves peanut butter on a spoon, as she calls it, when she refuses a meal. she has that and a pediasure.

You can, but it seems to me that it'd be counter-productive... Now's the time to really limit sweet flavors to small portions of dessert.
As for the picky eating, make food an adventure... just share what you're having with her and don't worry about high chairs, bibs, messes, or much of anything else. Just play... help her explore, find the flavors she likes, and share her meal times with you as a NON-stressful time. Once she's accustomed to various flavors and textures and is enjoying new foods, then you can start the sweets.

hi, have you ever tried chocolate syrup? and enable her drink out of a straw. try a variety of loopy straws from the $tree it fairly is sparkling and is all bent in different instructions. i does not even undertaking appropriate to the milk undertaking besides as long as you're nursing even one time an afternoon. For lunch and snacks provide her cheese to snack on. She'll be in basic terms high-quality, in basic terms shop her from the junk ingredients with empty energy. once you're nevertheless worried try the youngster's supplementations. I consistently gave them to my toddlers(3 boys) and that they are all very healthy adults now. good success with your daughter. Susie

Cal the companies 800 number and ask.
