at what age canyou take a baby swimming in the local lesuire centre? my baby is 8 weeks old and i cant wait to take her?

I am now ten days late for my period, i have had all signs of pg sickness, sore boobs cramping . went to the doctors who said i was showing allsigns of pg and told me to hand a sample in on friday to do a pg test (ihave done three home tests that are negative) she also checked my urine for signs of infection and nothing.
Yesterday the stomch cramps got so bad that i was taken into hospital my urine and blood tests all came back clear no babies no infection no nothing (made me feel like it was all in my head)

Now i am really confused he said there is still a chance i could be just to early to detect HPT but if i am getting sympton then the hormone should be there.
I am really confused i feel like i am making it up has anyone had a negative blood test and still been pregnant??

Does anyone know a UK website that I can purchase Folic Acid or prenatal vitamins from - preferably a site that accepts Paypal. Also I have read that when you take Folic Acid you should also take B12 as it can lead to deficiency otherwise?

Single Parents?
In to-days socielty, young single unemployed girls are getting pregnant and expect the state to provide for them.
If these people are stupid enough to get pregnant without being married or enough money to support themselves and the child, should the state refuse to support them and the child be adopted?
why is this right? its a very sterotipical thing to say like me saying "all people who abuse wellfair are black" whats the difference? its a mean thing to say people who are poor dont deserve children (that basicly what she said) narrow minded people are why we are at war and why all wars are started! many stuck up people think like this, is it because they themselfs do not know how hard it can be for some people in this world and not everyone had things givin to them!

I'm thinking of becoming a childminder, but won't have any qualifications (apart from first aid) to start with. I have got some experience with children as a first time mum to a 3 month old. I also work in summer camps a couple of years ago with kids aged 3-10. I'm French and so would like to make learning French a big part of my proposal.
If you wanted your kid to learn French, would you consider me as a chilminder even though I have no qualifications??

I did a Tescos pregnancy test last night and 2 x very faint lines came up (but in the wrong direction that they are meant to go - as shown on the box!) but the second window shown a dark line showing the test worked properly! I am so confused! Now the faint lines have disappeared completely. I am not due until next week but couldnt wait to test and was hoping I had conceived last month and didnt test last month. Does this mean I am definitely not preg? Feeling so down :-(

I recently changes my status from full time to full time ssp (supplemental staffing). Basically I'm paying for my own health insurance now and the company does not pay short term disabilty. I'm waiting to hear back about another full-time position (more money in this one). Will I be eligible for maternity leave even though I am already pregnant? I have enough money to cover costs for a while plus I'm working overtime to save extra. Any advice from single moms out there? My boyfriend is supportive, but all his money is going into a family restaurant business.

I am 35 weeks pregnant. I have been back pains and lower tummy pains. As of yesterday i was 1 cm dialated and my cervix was thinning out.... Well i woke up with the WORST and i mean WORST lower back pain then went up to my sides and everything. I Couldnt move, i was in tears, when i would try to sit up or stand up it would make it worse!! i dont think my stomache was tightening up so i dont think it was a contraction ( first time mommy ) I finally was able to stand up and walk and go to the bathroom and the pain isnt as bad. Its not as intense.. My baby is moving here and there.. Does anyone have a clue whats going on before i go into tears again?!?

End of July last yr, the Dr at St Thomas Hospital Gynaecology Unit told me I could not have a baby unless I operated to remove my hymen as it kept closing up no matter how much sex I was having. I was bleeding alot etc etc. But I decided against having the operation.

So anyways we stopped using contraceptives (I am married btw) and a month later I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive.
It took us both by surprise but lil baby is very loved already by all in our families..

Any one else have similar experieces with OBGYN's that tell u that you cant have a baby and you fell pregnant anyways?

My 5 year old son is rather fussy when it comes to food. Lately, he's refusing to take his milk. I've tried to change milk powder, but its even worse. He doesn't llike soya milk either. I'm worried, what other food can I give him instead which can substitute and has all the same goodness as milk!!

i am a first time mum my daughter is 2 months old and im trying to get here into a routine at night, i change her nappy, wrap her up, feed her, burp her then put her down to sleep. and now matter how much she cries or plays i dont go into her. eventually she falls asleep. is this considered cruel?? do you have any tips for me on raising children, anything at all

we both were not prepared for it it just happened accidently. Now we both are planning to get married next year. He told about our marriage thought to his parents. they r just not happy with this relation bcoz we both are from differnt cast and ofcourse they are very narrow minded abt this. But he is saying he will convince them with time. Hes working hard for our better future. we both are very well settled in our professional lifes. Hes always busy nowadays wth his family and work. I feel hes just giving me excuses for not being there with me. we hardly talk in a day. I feel like left alone. the abotion has affected me mentaly as well as physically, But I m not getting that care, sympathy or love from him which i m supposed to get. he never discussed that topic again after the abortion he just wants me to forget it. but i m still not able to come out of this bcoz of this lonelyness, and i dont feel hes trying to understand me and i dont have any other opening to relax.plz suggest me

This is my second child and Ive heard that symptoms can come as early as up to 1 week after conception.

i had my baby 3 weeks ago and ever since we came home from the hospital i have been sick, i noticed that she was conjested so on her 1 weeks appointment i told her doctor about it and the stupid doctor didnt even do anything about it.. about a week later she stoped breathing while i was holding her so my husband and i took her to the ER. she was admitted to the hospital on the 19th... she had broncities and was tested for RSV and it came back positive... we just barley got home yesterday, well my question really was if i was feeding her to much because she was throwing up alot before she went into the hospital and then during her stay it slowed down, by the end of the time there she wasnt throwing up hardly at all, but tonight she threw up again, its not spit up its accual barf you can smell it.. i just wasnt sure if it was because she is still partly sick and congested (they said that she will prolly be sick for a couple more weeks, but the broncities is almost gone)

Let's say a certain girl normally manifests all sorts of sickness symptoms and has irregular periods. 8 weeks after a sexual episode during which her bf pulled out, she has started having pregnancy symptoms (nausea, wt. gain, incr appetite). She had 3 days of period like bleeding soon after the sex, and recently had bleeding that stopped after only 8 hours. She took a clear blue digital hpt a few days ago, and it said "not pregnant" (8 weeks after sexual activity). She took another one a few days later and it said "pregnant". Out of 24 reviews on amazon.com for the clearblue digital, 8 of them complained of false positives. What do you think?
