this is very odd situation. people talk to me on one day and stops the oder day even widout any communication , then the whole group stops becoz both my kids are doing fairly above average. one got double promotion this session and other is routine topper since the start from last 3 yrs in grade school. they are good in xtra curricular activities also. it becomes frustrating at times. how to deal with such children and their parents?

Are you sure you are really "Humble"? One of my best friends brags about her son's achievements to the point that I have avoided her on a few occasions, however, if asked, she would say she doesn't brag about him. It is all in the eye of the beholder. Some parents are jealous, but, you may also be tiresomely bragging about your children as well, or using your children's achievements to put down others of build yourself up. Try reflecting on how you might sound to someone else.

Continue to be the true you and teach your kids the same, it's the others that need to take a look at what it is they are going through and understand why they don't care for you and your children.

maybe they are jealous or maybe they think you are trying to rub it in their faces.

try talking to them without bringing up your child and see if they still act this way. maybe confront them about it and let them know that you really are a nice person.
