I am 36.5 wks and I am 2cm, 50% efface, and pluse 1 stage I am so ready for this baby I have tryed sex in which it worked for my first pregnancy, walking it just makes me tried and then I tryed castor oil it kinda of works it made me have a lot of contractions the first day and dyed off the second i have had very little and today I really want to get labor started

To let you all know my first was born at 36 wks healthy and happy and my doctor said that if i did go into labor now he wont stop it and he said that the baby is very big and full tern

Don't listen to what everyone is saying, I am in the exact same boat, I am 4cm dilated externally and 3cm dilated internally and at 70% effaced. I just turned 37 wks, I have been this dilated since 35 and half weeks. The thing with the castrol oil isn't true, it just doesn't work, sex doesn't work, walking doesn't work, tea doesn't work, membrane stripping hurts like hell and it doesn't work, I am the last person to want to have to tell you this but your just going to have to wait, but I am getting induced next friday when I turn 38 WEEKS!! This is baby number 4, don't believe what you read none of this stuff works, except patience.

Ok, castor oil is dangerous! It can cause baby to have a bowel movement in utero called meconium and it is very dangerous and life-threatening to baby if aspirated at birth.
The other thing besides sex and walking is nipple stimulation. 20minutes on 10 minutes off and continue for several hours until labor is well established. A breast pump works well for this.

So what you are saying is getting labor started is more important to you than having a healthy baby? If that is the case WHY did you get pregnant and WHY did you CHOOSE to gestate to term?

you should wait until after 40 wks to try to induce yourself baby will be full term at 37 weeks. i couldnt stand it i am due today and yet i am still going to wait the baby will come when he/she is ready!

you should wait until you're full term. i have heard of using herbal teas. they cause the uterus to contract.
