i *heart* red hair...my friends tease me that i'll have my own little red headed army (red hair runs in my family, and my fiance has bright red hair!!) in gaelic, you can find some good names for red hair... i believ Blar means red head. Ruiadh means red (it's pronounced roy, as in Rob Roy, whose gaelicized name was Rob Ruiadh...or red rob, for his red hair) i like Arden for a little boy..i don't know what it means, but i absolutely love it!! ALroy means red head, but it sounds goofy to me... there's Rory...red headed King... i like Autumn as well, and i can't really think of a name meaning red haired for a girl, but Niamh means bright, Aideen means fiery (can also be spelled Aiden or Aidan...) but i just like gaelic names, so i'm odd!! i think Dawn could work, since some of the colours in dawn are reddish hued.also, Roisin(pro.rosheen) is cute...it means little rose. definitely pick a strong name, because all redheads i know have a strong personality!! anywho!! sorry i couldn't help much!! congrats!

I have a 19 month old redhead named Reece. And her name suits her perfect. Pick a name, don't base it on what color of hair you think it will have. I have brownish blonde hair and my hubby is red headed. We have a blonde headed 6 yr old and expecting another baby in May, so the child could have either red or blonde hair.

I had the cutest little red head last year in my pre k class. He was adorable but ornery as he could be. I love his name and think it suits him to a tee...
