If it's bright green or yellow-green you need to bring the baby to the doctor. Also bring the infant to the doctor it it's projectile or forceful vomiting (especially important in a baby less than 3 months old), if the infant has taken an oral electrolyte solution for close to 24 hours and is vomiting, if the vomiting starts again as soon as you try to resume the child's normal diet, if the vomiting starts after a head injury, if the vomiting is accompanied by fever (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, or 38 degrees Celsius, rectally in an infant under 6 months of age), if your child's belly feels hard, bloated, and painful between vomiting episodes, if the vomiting is accompanied by severe stomach pain, if the vomit resembles coffee grounds (blood that mixes with stomach acid will be brownish in color and look like coffee grounds), or if vomiting blood.

both my little ones threw up a lot! i breast fed then went on to the bottle to see if it helped, it didn't! i kept a diary of the amount they where feeding and how ofter they where sick and how long it happened after their feed i did this for a week then went to see my GP it turned out my daughter was lactose intolerent and my son had reflux problems. They where pescribed milk to help and have not really been sick since, my daughter is now 5 and can now eat dairy! you could change to a soya base milk and keep a diary so you can talk your doctor through it, it may be serious but it could be something very simple so try not to worry to much and good luck :)

When in doubt, call your pediatrician and ask for a nurse. They can tell you if you need to go in to the doctor. My guess is you should probably go to the doctor, even breastfeeding that's not normal.

well I would check for a fever and talk to your pediatrician. Spitting up is not normal among brestfed infants (my son never did once) and vommiting is not common among any infants unless they are sick or have an allergy.

Sounds likes yellow bile to me.

And if it wasnt just a 'spit up'...then maybe he is sick.

Nothing serious i dont think.
