Does a sudden slight dip in weight during week 37 supposed to indicate that some thing is wrong?

It's not uncommon to lose a couple of pounds at 37 weeks, due to the fact that it may be harder to eat as much with baby shoving your stomach into your throat(lol)......If your doctor sees something is wrong that's one thing but if he doesn't think anything of it you shouldn't either. Count your blessings..

if it's a very small weight loss like 1 lb or maybe 2 you should be ok, but weight loss in general during pregnancy especially so far along is usually not good, so i would check in with the doctor to be safe... you might be losing amniotic fluid or such. A stop in weight gain is ok and can happen, but weight loss shouldn't happen- at this stage the baby is constantly growing and packing on that last few lbs of baby fat the baby needs, so just get checked out to make sure it's nothing serious and they can advise you on how to avoid losing wieght and such. Good Luck and Congrats!

Towards the end of your pregnancy, your stomach is so small due to the amount of baby taking of all the space in your stomach, that you may find yourself eating less or even snacking less. If it is a huge weight loss like 10 pounds, I would be concerned but if its just a few pounds..no worries.
You're just ready to pop soon.

No. When the baby is crowding your stomach you might not have much of an appetite so there is a chance you could loose some weight. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Good Luck.

If you are pregnant any weught change should be brought to your doctors attention. I does not mean something is wrong, but to be on the safe side see your doctor. Times like this we tend to get nervous. If you ahve been more active and eating less then that may be the reason, but if you are eating more and moving less and still lossing, by all means please see your doctor.

Probably not, as long as it doesn't keep going down. I lost 3 pounds last week, and my doctor said not to be concerned unless I keep losing, or if I suddenly gain a lot (gaining fast is a sign of preeclampsia)
