I have two African dwarf frogs that I purchased from a local pet store, but when I look on the internet, there isn't much information about them. The pet store doesn't know that much about them either.

I would like to know how you tell the male from the female, what do their eggs look like, and any other general information anyone may know or have experienced with these frogs.

I recently brought a female guppy that was pregnant you can see all the eyes of her fry, we are new to breeding fish and dont no when to put her in the breeding box to have them, we are worried that she + 2 others will eat them if we leave her in the tank to have them but we have got plants for the fry to hide in if we dont put her in soon enough. We have put her in the breeder box but she just jumped out, any info would be appreciated thanks

I have just started to use a bubbler a couple of days ago and this morning when I woke up, my aquarium was very cloudy, Ammonia, nitrate and nitrite were tested this morning and all were perfect or almost perfect. Could the bubbler have caused a bacteria bloom. It's only been on 6 or 7 hours each day since i started using it and the water has no ill odor. I did a 10% water change a few hours ago and still no major change in the cloudiness.

She is very pregnant but she is acting very sluggish and doesn't want to swim. My ammonia and pH levels are normal but the heater accidently came unplugged overnight. This is my second guppy birthing, the first one happened overnight so I didn't see how she acted beforehand. I put her in the breeder for sick/pregnant fish but I don't know what is going on. HELP

How long does it usually take from when the female guppy starts giving birth to when she is finished? This is first time for her to give birth, has only had two empty sacks so far.

Hi,
Today I notice my betta fish has a hanging piece of fin (that is what it looks like) It is a stringy piece hanging with a clump on the end. I looked up on google and don't see anything quite the same. I do notice some white under her head area.
thanks!

Ok I have a little 5 gallon tank for my son with 3 guppies in it and I cannot figure out how to get the water to stop smelling so bad! It smells awful like cat urine!

It is one of those tank kits you get at walmart.

What can I do?

May sound like an odd question, but for someone looking to get a 150-gallon aquarium & having had recent knee surgery I'm in no position to be helping lift a tank of that weight. I was wondering if any pet stores in Northern/Central NJ offer that service when customers purchase big tanks?

I just asked a question about what water test kits are the best and Magicman mentioned the digital readout test pens. I have tried looking them up but not sure exactly what some of them are. I've found lots of ORP pens but not understanding what they exactly test. Please help! Can you give me a website to check out or the best place to buy one of these that will check everything that needs to be checked with aquarium water??

If anyone has imput on these pens that would be appreciated!

is there something i could put in the tank with my puffers that would be fun and cool and add something nice to the tank (because it looks so empty) that would be ok with the puffers. I have spotted puffer and figure eight puffers all small ones. Also as we all know they are messy eaters is tehres oemthing i could put in the tank to help.

I know they eat snails or atleast some times but is there a snail that reproduces fast and in great numbers?

A friend did this because the store did not tell him he couldn't and after two weeks you could hardly see the fish, half died and finally someone with half a brain at one of the pet stores asked what all was in the tank. Coral was a big no no, only for salt water tanks. Looked good but deadly

I have a 75 gallon freshwater fish tank with allot of plants, which i am trying to replicate my dads tank. i want more plants but it seems that they are not doing to well. I use the normal kent growth stuff but i have been reading about co2 systems.

I am not sure what it does fully or what i would have to do to set it up or what i need to set it up. And help would be great and options that anyone knows about.

I have also heard that it is dangerous? not sure what that ment lol.
