I have been monitoring my little baby for 2 days now and she wouldn't eat dry food so I went to the website to confirm the dog food issues. I bought her canned food and she eats it. she is weak still and clumbsy with her hide legs, she still has discharge from her eyes, but she still want to play and run around. she is having bowel movements that are solid and this morning when I feed her and took her out to go, I inspected her business and noticed that there were rice like particles in her feces I wormed her two days ago, I have been giving her poppy vitamins shold I stop til she is better? how long will it take for her to get better? She has lost weight and i am force watering HELP!!!!

My dog is 4 1/2 and can tell if it is bad or good weather, she gets all mardy if it's bad and when it's good she's all jumpy and licking me a lot, is this natural?

We are expecting puppies. Due date monday. 10 points to the person with the closes answer without going over. No points to anyone we leaves nasty posting. 1 point for all tries. details: 5.4lb yourshire terrier. You can guess how many pups for fun if you like. I hate it, when all of the answers are answered by non-profetionals in the dog buisness. I breed dogs, and am a dog psycologist, and i asked the question "How do i prevent barking without a shock collar?"
I got plenty answers, and was amazed hoiw quickly they came in. But was bitterly disapointed to find my first answer was "Kill the beast..." I was horrified, and at least 50% of the rest were just a fullstop. Gaming for points probably. But i also did some reaserch, and found that my few 'OK' answers were answerd by people who don't even own a dog! How can i do something about this, and has anyone got other examples or would like to join me in a fight against them? If so, leave your e-mail, i'd love to get in touch...

My dog was rescued and i dont believe he has seen many dogs in his time.
When he is off the lead he is quite good UNTILL he sees another dog then he charges for them no matter how far away they are (which can be quite scarey for the other owner as he is a rottweiler cross alsation so hes big). He is not aggresive ever but always wants to say hello and play, but when i call him when he charges he does not listen to me, unless he has sniffed them but some times he still doesent listen then and follows them.
How can i get him to listen to me more and be obedient to stay when he sees other dogs????? otherwise he is good and obedient in general just this!!!

One of my two dogs died 9 days ago and the Papillion that is left is very clingy and sad. I've tried playing and extra attention but she still seems depressed. She is basically an inside dog but we get out regularly. Should I get another dog (which I am not wanting to do just yet) or try for play dates with other dogs? I am missing my other dog as well but have adjusted by keeping busy. She is such a loving dog, very maternal and shows it with the outdoor cats we have. I am wondering if I buried the other dog too quickly before she realized he was actually dead and not coming back. I am humanizing her too much perhaps. Help!
