Our pitbull, Bella recently gave birth to a litter of 12, and they have been disapearing fast! Our pitbull is a very friendly, protective ,playful dog, there isnt a mean streak in her at all, but we went from 12 puppies down to just 3 ! A thorough search all the house produced no results, so I was wondering if in fact they eat their babies and if so, why?!! She is fed well enough and is given soo much attention! help pls!

**NOTE** Before anyone posts about all the unwanted Dogs and such in the world, I already know about this. Save it if you feel the need to take the podium in responding to me.

Also; I am aware of the plight of unwanted, etc. And, I am a conscientous Dog owner that donates food to my County's Animal Shelter and belong to the Humane Society in my County.

Anyway; I have 2 GSDs, Black & Tans, M&F. Both come from exceptional bloodlines, Female is AKC with Award winning Pedigree and A-1 OFI Cert. Male is UKC from exceptional Bloodlines A-2 OFI Cert and 5 Generations of Working/Police Dog pedigree and many of his relatives work in Police Agencies in MI, OH, IN, WI.

My concern is "Jinny" has had irregular heat cycles all her life. She would otherwise make a Great Brood Btch. in anyone's Breeding Program. I'm concerned with her cycles though, and I tried to have her bred with another Exceptional Male that has studded before sucessful litters.

The oldest got sick first, but within 24 hours, the other two had it. It started with them vomiting foam. They won't eat or drink, although, I have been force feeding water and Gatoraid with a small syringe. All the do is sleep. They don't have a problem urinating. The bm's are from normal to pure water and light green. Temperatures have run from 100.9 to 101.7 degrees. Please help. The smallest is the weakest and going down fast. I have 5 full grown dogs that don't seem to be sick. Thankyou, Vicki

She is a Maltese x shi zu but more Maltese,
She's around 6 months old and has the temperment of a teddy bear lol.
She is just the sweetest!
But what really annoys me is that she is always staring at me, when I do the dishes, when Im on the computer she just sits there and watches me till she falls asleep on the couch.
She always wants to be near me all the time, she dosn't want to be left alone in a room, I go into the lounge she follows and sleeps under the couch,
I know she suffers with a little bit of seperation enxiety, however you spell it but could there be another problem?
Dose she think im just going to dissapear or something?

My husband brought home another puppy. When have a 1 1/2 year old male pug and a 9 month old male pit bull. When I was growing up all we had were pitbulls and boxers or a mix of them. This new female puppy that my husband brought home attacks my feet and my feet only. She totally loving for my husband and my 2 older boys. But with my she goes after my feet all the time and those little puppy teeth of hers are sharp. I will be sitting there and out of nowhere I have a puppy latched onto my ankle. Sometimes I have jumped and almost kicked her. I know she is just playing but why does she only do this to me? Is it because I am the only other female in the house? Or does she not like me?
PLEASE NO PIT BULL HATERS RESPONDING AND TELLING ME I AM HORRIBLE FOR HAVING ONE. BLAME THE DEED NOT THE BREED!!!!

Can anyone please tell me, or give me a link to information about setting up a home boarding business? I'd like to start a boarding business at my house for dogs (no need to build a special kennel, so no permit for that is needed), I just need to know if I need to get permission from the city in order to have dogs stay at my house (10 or so at one time). Thank you

I bought a two pack of Rawhide Bones for my dog. After chewing on it for a while I noticed it was soggy and looked like she could bite off pieces of it. I looked on the bag and all it said was: Natural Rawhide. Should I give her back the bone or just trash it and go buy her something edible for her?

Over my last spring break I visited some friends that had recently had a litter of pure bread Alaskan Huskies that they could not care for. Unfortunately i can not keep him. I know that these kinds of dogs love running and they love the outdoors. I know that huskies typically run dog sled races. I know he would make an excellent dog and even an excellent dog sledding dog. This is a lifestyle I know he would prefer. Dog sledding is in his blood, his grandfather ran the Iditarod. He is an extremely smart puppy and he learns very fast. With only being 8 weeks old he already comes to his name, sits and is for the most part potty trained. If you know of anyone looking for an Alaskan husky puppy that could efficiently care for him or maybe would like to train him to become a dog sledding dog please let me know. All I want is a good home for him.

I have a AKC pug and have recently purchased a little guy who is registered under CKC. I would prefer to have both as AKC registered if I choose to breed. Or how would it work if the litter was from an AKC dame and CKC sire?

My dog was viciously attacked by a pit bull while I was walking her within our apartment property. The dog is on the "ban" list at our complex. The owner of the pit bull was jogging w/ his dog and the leash broke. The owner took off running after the attack (I am assuming he knew he was in big trouble). We caught the dog and called animal control and found out what apartment he lives in. He happens to be an unauthorized occupant at the apartment and is also claiming the pet is not his (which is silly being that he was there when the whole thing was occurring). We have been told that we can pretty much only file a small claims against him. I cannot figure out how to find out his name to do so. The apartment office will not release it and the police say it is an animal control issue. The apartment office has fined the leaser of the apartment already but that doesn't get me my money back.

Is it okay if I take her for a short walk right now cuz she hasn't been to the bathroom since yesterday....and 2 more questions.... can I still give her food 3 times a day (I know it's supossed to be a bit less) and can I give her unlimited water too? Thanks for all the help :)
