I don't know what it is but everytime i'm playing with my dog he tends to sneeze. I thought it was my perfume maybe but i haven't been wearing it around him. he doesn't do it all the time but mostly when i pet his ears. Could he be allergic to himself? plz help me...

my dogs nose has been itching him like crazy, he rubs it on the ground outside and rips it open and it looks to be dry and almost scaly like a fish. the vet said it is from digging and the dog does not dig. any advice? any answers that can help would be great, thanks

Everytime she wakes up her head begins to shake uncontrollably and she spits up a little bit. What could be wrong with her? I'm taking her to the vet on Friday but I wanted to see if anybody knew.

I just got jumped for my dog?
i was just right NOW walking down the street with my blue nose pit when 2 mexican guys drove by in a car, stopped the car, and started asking me where i got my dog. the guy on the passenger side kept saying it was his dog, but it wasn't cuz i've had this dog since it was born. he grabbed it and took it into his car and drove off really fast leaving me really upset and i don't know what to do. i am really upset please help. i think i might know his lisence plate number. i tried remembering it the best i could. it was a small blackish dark bluish looking car. with the license plate # 462QGB72 or #462GB7Q i am pretty sure that is the number. the guy was holding a pink cell phone. i am really sure i have seen him before. i know i have. he looks really familiar. could he be stalking me??? HELP!!!

I have adopted a dog after hurricaine Katrina, he is now a little over a year old. He is over protective of me, and growls at strangers, How can I make him more trusting? He is so perfect for my husband and I. He is not walked because we live in a bad City neighborhood and I'm afraid of pitbulls etc that he would encounter out there. He is also not living in a home with children. He is a Chow/Huskey Mix and about the size of a full grown Wolf.

I have recentally read a book about how dogs found homes on petfinder.com. It made me want to get a dog that way. I already have a dog and a kitten. But I really would like another dog for my dog to play with, since she seems lonely with my brothers and i at school and my parents at work. How can I convince my mom/dad to get a new dog. Not a puppy but a dog around 1 or 2. They say I have enough pets but it doesn't seem that way.

I have a sheltie, almost 5 and recently her breath has been bad. When we get her dentabones, there is a temporary respite, but eventually it returns.
When she has her annual vet appointment in June, we plan to get her teeth cleaned.
Anyone experienced this problem before?
Anyone know of any other natural remedies for stinky breath?

hes a rare breed dachshund so i dont know if this could be it... but anytime i want to sleep he does ... and any time im sitting he sleeps ... but when i walk around he follows so any time i make him get up he will ?

My lab and pitbull are constantly restling. I'm not too worried about the lab being rough because he knows when to stop. I'm more concerned about the pitbull. Should i allow them to wrestle this way? I dont want the pit to wrestle the lab when they are both full grown and end up in a tragedy. I know they're playing but could this affect their future behaviors?

I really want to get a dog but I'm torn over what breed. I love Sharpei's but I get concerned that their skin might cause them problems? I also like Pugs and Greyhounds. I'm also planning to get a dog from a shelter too so don't have a go at me for wanting a pure breed too please!! And also I don't have kids so it doesn't have to be a 'family' dog. Thanks!

I have had my dog for about 3 years. She always wined when I went outside or even left the room that she was in. I can't even go to the bathroom without her trying to open it and come and visit. When I am outside I usually let her run loose, my dad is around and she usually doesn't run away. When I hook her up to her leash she wines and wines and breaks her collar. How can I get her to get over this clingyness and let me go to the bathroom without her scratching at the door????

I have had him for 3 months now. He was Previously tied to a very short lead. I have a chain link fenced in yard. He is fine as long as no one walks by. But when someone walks by he gets very aggressive and trys to Jump my fence. Especially KIDS.. He was teased by children,( previous Owners).. My Fence is 4 feet tall. But he is a very Good Jumper to say the least. I have had to resort to tieing him outside. But I feel this will not fix the situation.. PLEASE SOMEONE help.. I want to be able to let him run. But i cannot risk him Jumping my fence and Biting someone. I have though about Shock Collars But I don't like to have to do that to him. The previous owners never trained this dog in any way. He is NOW neutered.. And house broke.. He is very Active and when he gets Excited he can nip. I was trying to hold him and make him hold still in front of kids and he tried to nip at me so I would let him go. He did not break the skin or even mark me. But that is not the point... PLEASE HELP????
