My dog has been eating grass lately and throwing it up all over the house! What do I do to stop it? And is there any reason why he could be doing this?

My dog LOVES mango juice. I know that the pits of most fruits are bad for dogs, but I was wondering if just the juice itself is toxic/harmful.

I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and she is the sweetest dog. I've never heard her growl and she rarely barks. However, ever since my girlfriend started coming around often, my dog seems really protective of her when I'm not around. She barks at pretty much any guy who as much as walks by the house and growls at a lot of people (mostly guys) when I'm not with them. She even snapped at an older man in the park yesterday when my girlfriend took her up there. Is this normal? Have you heard of a dog being this protective over a woman, but not of a man? It's almost like when I'm around everything is fine, but when I'm not she feels like she has to protect my girlfriend.

The pug puppy we rescued and had treated for PARVO finally went #2 yesterday. It was semi-solid but super stringy and slimy...is this normal after being treated for the disease? I know I should ask the vet and I plan to as soon as I get off work.

My dog hurt her leg or paw when running outside today. Not sure if she stepped on something, pulled a muscle, or got bit. She will not put any weight on it and seems sensitive when I touch it. Am wondering if I could give her something from home for possible pain/swelling?

I adopted a 13 year old dog from the pound (they were about to put her to sleep) and she has mild arthritis. I give her soft pillows to lie on and let her be on the couch but she still seems to move stiffly and lies around a lot. Is there any special food I can give her or anything? I have never had an old dog before.

I do not know if something bit him or irritated him. For now I am putting peroxide and that seems to help it to scab over, but then he bites on it again and it starts to bleed. Should I get him one of those cones to go around, his neck? What should I use as treatment for the bleeding tail?

My friend doesn't drive, so I take her and her child to school daily along with me and my child. She had aquired a small dog who rides along with us. He is very ill-mannered, barks excessively at people, scratches the paint on the exterior of the bed as he hangs over going nuts, he also urinates in the bed of the pickup. Also he rides unrestrained in the cab, and so his hair is everywhere. There have been times I have been distracted as he climbs over my lap, and interferes with my driving. When I expressed my dismay, telling her maybe he needs a shock collar or some kind of training, she has now decided to resume walking her child to school and when I drove by, she didn't acknowledge me and I feel she is mad at me now. So I was hoping for some answers on how to deal with this issue. Was I wrong to feel upset about her dog's behavoir? He has also attacked children in our neighborhood, when he has escaped his tie-out. Would love to get some advice about this. I own a dog, as well.

I have a 4 year old female Yorkshire terrier whom we occasionally breed to bring in a little extra cash. She is currently in heat, there a mutts everywhere outside my home, and I currently have no desire to mate her, especially with an undesired suiter. These dogs have been causing alot of problems lately such as chasing my cats, tearing into my garbage, and loitering in my front lawn. My question is, how do I keep the strays away from my home without having to get my dog fixed. Is there some sort of spray I can by to deter them from my home? I would start picking them off with a .22 but aside from the fact that thats mean, I don't want to get in trouble with the law. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My Rhodesian Ridgeback of 16 months hasn't been able to keep anything down for 4 days. Is it just the flu and she'll get over it? What else could it be? We haven't taken her to the vet yet because it's not uncommon for her to have an upset stomach sometimes, but this has gone on way too long...any help is appreciated!

I have been in my apartment for about 3 months now and my dogs keep doing their thing in the floor. I hate it. The older one was fine at my old apartment and was doing well here but since i got the puppy she doesn't care about going outside. I take them out first thing in the morning and they pee but they wait to poop when they get in no matter how long i stay outside with them. They also don't give me any sign that they need to go out and i just find the gifts they leave me.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
i don't want to have to get rid of them

Last night my baby started limping really bad and my husband felt his paw and he cried and didn't want to be touched. I consoled him and he cuddled up into me as he was looking him over. This happened suddenly and since then he can't even get up. He just scoots to move on my bed. Then this morning when my husband got up to go to the loo, he stepped on him! He didn't mean to but it hurt my baby even worse! I'm very upset. Could he have something in his little paw, or could it be that my husband stepped on him earlier last evening too. I think I should take him to the vet but I don't have the money to do so. I need help!

-I want to purchase a toy apricot/cream poodle, but I am not sure how prone they are to tear stains.

-I love the teedy bear cut, meaning the face is not shaved. If I let its hair be like that, will I be able to keep tear stains at bay?

-I already have Angel Eyes for my other pets, but I am hoping a poodle won't get stains as often...

Please help! Thanks for reading!

My fiancee and I have three dogs. I won't let them sleep in our bedroom, because if we happen to do the two-bear mambo, I feel really weird about them watching. She doesn't mind at all, but I just think it's creepy. The feeling of eyes on me during sex, even dog eyes, weirds me out. What do you think? Is this a common guy hangup? Any women have the same feeling?

We recently rescued a 3 month old male pug puppy...turned out he had all sorts of medical problems, so we had him at the vet for a while, now he is home with us, we already have an 8 month old pug and he does not like the new puppy AT ALL. The puppy bites him, tries to steal his toys and food, etc. I don't know what to do, this little puppy has been thru so much, I don't want him to have to find yet another home, BUT I don't want our precious 8 month old baby pug to feel like we've replaced him, he acts so depressed now that we've got this puppy.. :*(
The new dog seems like he loves us,but I know all puppies are lovable so he'd probably be happy in a different environment right? Because right now the puppy is so mean to the old dog we are having to keep him in our master bathroom constantly so they don't fight/bite...I am so confused?! What to do help please!
