The pug puppy we rescued and had treated for PARVO finally went #2 yesterday. It was semi-solid but super stringy and slimy...is this normal after being treated for the disease? I know I should ask the vet and I plan to as soon as I get off work.

It can take a while for their poo to return to normal after what they're guts have been through. As long as there's no blood in it! But yes, check with vet for full explanation.

After what the dog has been thru, medications etc, it's going to be pretty strange looking poop..

REMEMBER THO, your dog is still shedding the parvo virus.. Other dogs are at risk to picking up this disease. DO NOT take your dogs where it is going to infect, or come in contact with other dogs, or allow it to poop anywhere but your own yard. They say from 2 weeks - 6 weeks they can still be shedding the virus... Be responsible and don't risk the life of other people's dogs please!

This is probably normal. Years ago we had a pit bull puppy with Parvo and treated it at the vets. If I am not badly mistaken, the bowel movements after treatment were similar to what you described.
I advise you to at least call your veternarian to be safe.

it is normal... do some research on "vital force" its normal after parvo anyway but it can also be the body way of pushing virus out of the body. also a bad body smell, maybe some zit looking sores on its back half of the body.

It sounds like it might have some mucous in it. If you recently brought her home and changed her food it's pretty normal. Ask the vet just to be sure, but it doesn't sound like any kind of emergency.

parvo virus can stay in an affected area for months, go to your vet, dont allow to mix with other dogs.
