could i safely give a dog 'oxycodone' for pain in an emergency?

You really don't know how your dog would react to such a potent pain killer. It is an opiate and a depressant.

The ratio of drug to your dog's weight could really have severe effects on your dog's health, possibly even kill it.

No, you can't safely give oxycodone for pain in an emergency.

oh my gosh...no..............All they can have a Bayer Aspirin Childrens. You can't give him tylenol eithier............Then it goes on body weighed.....If there is an emergency you really to call a on call vet.
