I have two boxer puppies. The female is 10 weeks (so i have had her for 2 weeks) and today I just picked up the male (8 weeks). I put the two together and the female would not leave the male alone. They seemed to be really fighting with each other, They played, but also had moments of growling, snarling, and biting. I have seperated them for the night (each in a different room) but I am worried about tomorrow when i will introduce them again. Should i be worried, is there anything that i can do to help the situation, or am i just worrying for no reason?

my dogs judt got back from the vet, she has pneumonia, she is only 4 months old, although she seems to be ok-ish, she is constantly dry heaving, the vet said its nothing to worry about but i want to help speed up her recovery coz im very worried.

She is still trying to play, so i am calming her down as i dont want her to struggle with her breathing, her lungs are swollen and pushing against her heart, she is a mini german pincher.

i have seen 2 different vets and both say the same that its nothing to worry about, but i think it is, are the vet skills different in thailand compared to the uk?

I dont like to see her in this discomfort, i have sat at home with her for 5 days solid now and she doesnt seem to be improving.

Help.

My Shi-tzu has curly hair - not really curly, but really wavy. I have never let it grow out like you see at the dog shows. I always clip him when his hair gets kind of long as he has either gotten mats, or because of the heat.(We live in Texas)

Anyway, just curious if anyone else's Shi-tzus have curly hair, or if they are supposed to have curly hair, or what.

4 nights ago she acted like she was going to barf, and we rushed her outside and she didn't. Then the next night she did the same thing, and I rushed her outside and she barfed all over the floor. ALOT of barf. Then the next night I was cleaning up and suddenly she barfed just a little bit of barf not alot, and not wet like the first time, though. What's wrong with her???? She is eating purina one puppy chow, and she doesn't eat people food ever.

The pregnancy was accidental, i moved up to qld to be with my sister and a few days after i got here my 1 year old german shepherd came on heat so i did not get the chance to have her desexed. we tried to keep them away from each other by blocking my dog alora down the side of the house but overnight Boris my sisters rotweiler got in there and got to her. i am assuming she is pregnant because from what i have read she is showing all the symptoms. i want the puppies to go to responsible people who are going to treat them with respect so i am not giving them away cos this will cause people to get a dog just cos it is free. what do you think is a fair price that will attract the right sort of interest?

My 7-year-old Standard Poodle played too vigorously today, and he must have put too much strain on his legs. He's a little arthritic, I think. I have aspirin, ibuprofen and tylenol in the house, as well as some prescription meds I use for my own arthritis. Would any of these do?

I just got really really freaked out. My chihuahua is almost 5 months. He's gotten "excited" before with his stuffed frog, and i deal with it, didn't think it could get any worse... but just now he got WAY excited. It looked like his insides were coming out... it really scared me. Did my dog just hit puberty or something? Jeeze Louise i feel disgusting that i just saw all that!

There is a litter of puppies being born in Oct, which means they couldn't go home until Dec and I don't think I can wait that long to get a new puppy. Would it be better if I got two puppies now or would it be ok to get one now and get the other puppy in december so they'd be like 9 months apart. Would they still get along and adjust to each other?

Hey, I'm a newly dog owner, and I happen to have a female Pekingese, who I DONT want spayed. It appears to be going through its period. So, I was wondering if anyone can help me out and tell me how long pekingese's cycles are. If there is anything I should do special...

ALSO...

I heard of "DOGGY PANTIES?" Can anyone help me out on what that is. And if I buy them, how do I make sure the dog keeps it on.

I would really appreicate it :)
