I know I want a mastiff, I just don't know what kind.

All of them that I have been around have drooled about the same amount as the English.

Neos dont really seem to drool more than english. With old english mastiffs you know what you are getting but with neos there is quite a bit of difference in conformation. Neos do have a breed standard but the pups can vary quite a bit. A friend of mine in south aust breeds them and i have seen dogs with back legs higher than front, also the other way round. Some resemble larger blood hounds almost and some look like a regular mastiff. Some have more skin and some have less. Its a thought that all mastiffs originate from the tibetan mastiffs but the neo was the earliest known.

What happened to the Great Dane?
All mastiffs drool a lot. Neos more than others.

They all drool so much that I don't even think it matters.
