I am thinking about getting a great dane but I want to know if they drool a lot. I have heard yes and no. Do they?

i have to adult dogs one a boy the other a girl and 4 of her puppies that are 4 moths old and they act like thay are hungry all of the time. they are free feed with a bowl of dry food all of the time and a each gets a can of food every day and they eat it like they are starving, people might think that we dont feed them.
they have all been tested for worms and they are all clean, is there something else i could be doing for them???

Whenever it rains just a little bit my dog goes crazy and she wont stop panting or shaking. I no this is fairly common cuz most of my friends' dogs do it. But i really wanna know if there is something i can do that will calm her down. I've tryed to comfort her but it just doesn't work.

Well my dog is a chihuahua, and her son got her pregnant. Its not very long till she has her puppies. Probably a week or so. will her puppies die because she wasnt supposed to breed with her son?

no..he bites even harder and seems to get viscious..We've tried the whole yell "ow" loudly to scare him and it doesn't work..He's other wise a sweet dog and is really good, We don't know if it's the whole dominant thing but we've tried those exercises too like grabbing his scruff when he does it as does a momma dog(we've also tried ignoring him but when we come back he still bites) ...NOTHING is working and it's gettin VERY frusterating..please if you have any advice I'd like it. Thank you so much

I adopted 2 puppies from my local shelter in November 2006. The are now 6 months old and had their spay and neuter surgery last thursday. My male dog is not recovering well and I can see that he is diminishing rather quickly. He is lethargic, will not eat, only will drink water and later vomit or expell foul watery stool. Ive had him back to the vets and they did numerous tests and x rays and everything shows negative. I am ready to have him put down because he is clearly ill and the vets are just scratching their heads. Is it possible for him to have a reaction to the rabies vacination or something associated with the surgery? Of course, the vet says no, but my gut is telling me yes.

I have a daschund mix and his nails are black and I normally cut his nails or he will chew them down a bit to help me out. The past few times I have had a hard time judging where the quick is and I've cut to short. I've tried a flashlight and that doesn't help. I'd rather not take him to the groomer or vet because I think after a while my dog will get more comfortable with me cutting the nails. What do you suggest?

She had 10 puppies altogether and they were all doing fine. I don't think she is doing it on purpose. Maybe there are to many for her. She killed one yesterday and another today. I don't know what to do if I find another dead. I check on them 3 to 4 times a day.

I want 1 miniature toy poodle. They are like the perfect pet for me and since my sister moved out sometimes I might get lonely and I guess that's why I'm always on the computer or watching t.v. and I really think a small puppy would be great for me, since I'm more responsible now.

i had a labradore greyhound cross for 10 years, i found that the mix was just perfect for me. i live in northern nevada and was wondering if any one has information on where i might find another somewhere close to where i live. the one i had was found wandering the streets of the town i live in so i don't know where he came from. i would like a puppy and male. thanks
