Our dog is scratching. She has red blotches on her skin, and she is panting. She seems droopy, but not too bad. Any ideas what we can do for her until seeing the vet in the morning? We don't think she got into anything.

I would give your dog nothing unless your vet recommended something. Your dog should be fine until morning. It doesn't sound very serious. Probably just some allergies

Yes, could be allergies. Ask your vet about Clovite. It's a vitamin and mineral supplement. A breeder friend gave us some for one of our dogs and it worked great. It's grainy and we dipped pieces of meat instead of sprinkling it on her food...that way we knew she ate the whole dose.
