No, it's not normal. Mine did that at 10 days old, I found that there little nails were hurting her when they nursed. I clipped their nails (just tips) and she continued to let them. I had to do this a least every 2 weeks. If she dosen't want to after when she realizes it won't hurt her, then you will have to feed them with a supplement. Good luck

It may be that their nails are irritating the mother. If you clip off the tips of them (if you know how, otherwise get someone else to do it) that may resolve the problem. Also, you didn't say what you are feeding the mother, but she needs a diet higher in fat and protein, like a puppy food diet while she is nursing. If she is still reluctant to feed them you might check with your Vet and find out what is going on with her.
Don't bottle feed them unless your Vet says it is necessary. Your Vet may recommend you lying down beside her at feeding times to make sure the pups are getting enough to eat.

Sounds like you have a reluctant mom. You need to get her in with the pups and have her instincts kick back in to care for them. If you have too bottle feed them but get he replacement milk from either you vet or from a good pet store.

check to see if she still has milk. she can leave them for a little bit at a time to go out side and to eat. if you are worried check with your vet or the breeder that you got your dog from
