Whats a good shampoo to use on a pregnet dog?

I dont want it to be flea or tick or anything like that.But I want to be able to buy it at wallmart.

She is only a few weeks along.She sleeps with me at night.But she smells really bad now.

Puppy shampoo. You should always use tearless, hypoallergenic puppy shampoo on pregnant and nursing mothers. You don't want any harsh chemicals absorbing into her skin. If you can find the type that's clear, colorless, and fragrance-free, that's the best.

And obviously, don't use human products. They make dog shampoo for a reason. ALL human products, even baby ones, have the potential to react badly with dogs.

You can give them a bath until they are 2 weeks before they are ready to whelp. Oatmeal is fine shampoo. Just dont get Hartz shampoo it's crap and will dry her skin out. Just before she is ready to whelp you can wipe her down with baby wipes.

We use our kids shampoo on our dogs because the stuff we would buy for dogs would break their skin down and they would get staph infections. We use Johnson's Milk Wash. It is creamy, soft, safe, and smells good.

best type of shampoo is to use baby shampoo(Johnson&Johnson) it works great for pregnant females. i breed golden retrievers and i use this on my female.it is not harsh on the skin and won't make her dry. try that and see how good she will smell. you don't want anything that will make her want to itch after her bathand the baby shampoo won't do that. good luck

get a natural shampoo or even use baby shampoo on her.

Try Pert Plus (for humans). it's very conditioning and my vet reccomended it for my doxone.

why do you want to bath her? how far along is she in her peg? if she is not real dirty i would not bather just brush her real good
