here's the thing...he's very large but really sweet. one of his favorite things to do is chase my 12 yr old son. He never harms him, only wants to chase him. He seems "proud" when he catches up to him. Our neighbor's dog does the same thing.
does anyone know why it's just my son he wants to play like that with?

shes in labor and the sac came out, a yellowish one and a dark brown one, but no baby was inside either, but she kept licking them, and they burst..does that mean that the baby is pretty much a gonner?? should i stop her from trying to lick them again if another one comes out, or are they supposed to do that? PLease dont tell me to take her to the vet, i have everything under control, i just want to know if thats normal or not. THANK YOU!!!

A couple of years ago we noticed a little bump close to the tip of the penis of our pug (he is 6 years old now), but the vet said we should not worry about it. Three months ago, the dog started bleeding several drops of very red blood every day. As we grew concerned, we looked for a second opinion. The vet took a tisue sample of the bump and had it analyzed. The results said it was a benigne tumor. The vet said the dog had a deformity in the tip of the penis, and that she had to reconstruct the urethra. She operated the dog, and everyting seemed fine until five days ago, when the dog started to bleed again. We went back to the vet, and she said that she would have to operate again, to fix another problem with the urethra. We asked for a third opinion, and the sample of the bump taken this time, turned out to be malignant. The vet sais our dog has cancer and that she will have to amputate the dog´s penis. Does this seem reasonable? Is it possible that the diagnosis is wrong?

How does your employer feel? Did you have to strike a deal with them to allow it to happen? Did you have to request in writing/take out insurance? How do your co-workers feel? How practical is it in truth?
Like to hear your (short) stories, especially office-based scenarios. Thanks in advance, Mark

What the recalls are for purina dog food? I heard something about recalls on dry food and some wet foods. What about moist foods? Specefically "Moist N' Meaty". Do you know the name of the Purina brands?

I am soooo frustrated. Between her ignoring me and her not housebreaking i am at my boiling point. She just pooped on the carpet after being outside for 20 mins. Can these things be fixed by obediance school? If she had more respect for me would she be easier to housebreak and would she take orders??

the last puppy we got was a golden retriever, we got her from a pet shop. we loved her, but there were a lot of complications and she ultimately died very young, and we would like to avoid a similar situation. can anyone tell me what to look for when trying to find a cairn terrier? any health issues, or things like that before i go out and buy one?

I have a dog who is CONSTANTLY anxious...not just when I leave, not just around new people, not just around new dogs...ALWAYS. She has improved some with training, but I'm at my wits end. She is starting to become violent with my other dog, and I don't want to put her down.
