I have a Jack Russell Terrier male, 3 yrs. old. He was not ever abused, and we bought him when he was 3 months old from a JRC breeder. He's afraid of sizzling noises from grittles, skillets, blenders, etc. And he's just very chickity around all sorts of thing, but cooking is the worst. When he hears sizzling he runs away down the hall or whatever. How do I get him to stop being so afraid of everything? Please help.

My vet recommended me get my male Min Pin neutered soon. This past Saturday he turned 4 months old. Will getting him neutered this early stunt his growth or hurt him in anyway, or is it good for him?

my vet said he might be another siezure dog like my other one.
usally he will pace around like he is constipated and anxious.
also his back legs tighten up or something, cause he walks funny.
it last like 5 minutes and goes away.
But this time I am on the PC at the desk, he was clawing me, so I thought he just wanted to sit on my lap. I put him there and he was shaking, bad. then put stood up and put his legs on the desk, so I thought he wanted to go pacing around.
I just put him on the floor to see if he can walk and he is.
now he is a little better, a lot less shaking. but still seems anxious, uncomfortable, still shaking. the vet said I should get a blood test, now I am!!! tomorrow I have him cell # for super emergencys but don't know if this is one. my other dog take phenobarb, and no problems since. I feel like giving him a half a pill. could that hurt him? or worse? he's still shiveriver a little 20 minutes later. he does shiver very little normally sometimes if it's cool.

Ok, I have a 3 month old puppy. We've had her since January 17th and every time we have company, she growls and barks at our guests. Even after our guests has been been over for awhile, she still continues to growl and bark at them. Why does she do this?

Another question. How long will it take for a dog to stop "teething"?

My dog kepts barking and trying to get loose from his lead when he sees other dogs. I have tryed clicker training, use of a bottle with stones. Walked the other way, tried to walk pass. Has a medical problem with continue visits to the vets, will keep barking and gets very excited, just wants to play. Its getting embarrassing and he is a large German Shepherd. Any help to resolve this problem?

My roommate and I give our dog table scraps every once in awhile. I use to do it with my last dog and there was never any problems but then again, that was 10 years ago. I don't know if anything has changed that I shouldn't give my dog food. Anything anyone knows, I would love to know myself. Thanks!
