I think there is a kind of harness that keeps them from being able to stretch their body enough to jump. I think you can find it at Drs. Foster and Smith.

If your dog is not neutered/spayed a fence won't stop it's strong drive of wanting to find a mate. Even females wander when in heat. Another reason your dog could be jumping the fence is maybe it is bored and wants to see what is on the other side. Try taking your dog for a walk every day around your neighborhood so he can sniff and small all the wonderful smells and check out where other dogs have been. Dogs need that every day. They see life going on outside their fence and they want to be a part of it .

Get an electric fence. I know it sounds cruel, but really it's ok. You teach it what to do and what not to, and it will learn. If it wants to cross the line...then it will get a little shock. But our dog never crosses anymore because she knows what happens. Other than that..I would say get a taller fence. (But I would go with the first one!)

Get a bigger fence or train him not to jump fence or buy chain ay local petstore lots of ideas here can you afford a guard barrier eletric fence? sold at Vet or Pet store? Shock collar?

2. run a strip of electric fence tape along the top and attach a fence energiser to it.
