he is trying to make a good situation even better. Consider yourself lucky, my girl does this while I am UNDER them. she will all so pull the covers off me in the morning about 5 minutes before the alarm goes off.

He's just responding to his instinctual need to make up his den. Dogs like to arrange items into a pile, usually turning around several times, and then relaxing for a nap on their new nest. If he's not leaving any blankets for you you may want to consider purchasing a crate for him to sleep in on your bedroom floor. Most dogs get used to a crate very quickly and soon consider it their little home within a home.

getting comfy! my one year old Pit Bull will carry our couch pillows to one end of the couch then lay on them and be out for a half hour.

well i have 2 pitbulls a boy and a girl and they both do that
they just love to cuddle and be surrounded

my dogs much rather cuddle between me and my bf but we dont let them so they make do with pushing and tugging pillows around to make it seem like a lil next of sorts

they just love to be cuddle

To make himself a comfortable bed, all dogs do this, but I found it even more common in my Amstaff. He's just trying to make it comfy and cozy that's all!

He is just trying to make a comfortable bed for himself! My pitbull mix and my pom mix both did this untill I bought them those round cushioned dog beds. It seems like dogs like to be on something soft, just like people, when they sleep.
