Show your mom why you deserve another dog. Show her that you're responsible ( take care of your current dog, take care of your own responsibilities etc) and how much positive things you're willing to do to get another one. Give her valid reasons. Tell her how strongly you feel about it. Prove that you're worthy of another pet. Communicate. Just talk and listen and communicate.

its not a good idea to bring a dog into a household where less than 100% of the humans want a dog
