well, he is un-nuetered, and it is spring now, so many female dogs are in-heat. males drool and foam at the mouth when they smell the scent. so females inheat have urinated where he pees, so he marks there, claming THIS FEMALE IS MINE. no worries, you dont have to breed him to stop. he will get over it when the females arent inheat

Take him to the vet ASAP! It could be the symptom of a disease or infection. Foaming at the mouth is not normal, so I would get him checked out...better safe than sorry!

when your dog is over whelmed or excited it can cause them to foam. it is really normal. it is like that when some dogs take car rides. try going a different way or a different route. there is a scent there that we are unable to smell.

bring him to a vet and see what the problem is. i have never seen a case like that before so take him to someone who knows what they r doing

if the dog is nonneutered. and he smells something on the ground and "pees on it" he, has smelled a "lady dog" in heat, He's just getting frisky!! he just like to meet the! for you know what!!!

there is an epidemic going around called mtp it is like rabies I dont know alot about it but please go to a vet they said it has killed some dogs

he might be allergic to something. I would have him be checked out by a vet though.
