My dog's name is Boo. I rescued him from a storm drain - he was a little pup and it took four days to get him free. The drain was only about 4 feet deep but was really dark and awkward to access. The first time I saw him he was curled up in the corner and he is the blackest dog I've ever seen except for his white teeth that he showed when I called down to him. I din't know if he was growling....as it turns out, he shows his teeth when he's happy! But, the 1st time I saw him the shot of white teeth was like "Boo!". Best dog i've ever had...

*Lucky Because she was the only that survived out of her litter
*Santana Because at the time Carlos Santana was quite popular!
*Rusty Becuase it was Bozo the Clowns Sidekick! Also that is the color of his fur!

One greyhound already came with the name Sunny, being a male I was going to change it to something more masculine, but over the next fews days I realized the name fitted truly fitted personality, always happy and often smiled a true sunny disposition.
My next greyhound came with the pet name of Dot
she was adopted as special needs dog as she is extremely fearful and panics at the sight of a person
I named her Maya which is believed to be an illusion, a veiling of the true, unitary Self, as I know there is more under all that fear, and I am working to unveil who she is, and I am not disappointed with what I am finding : )
Winnie is named so as he looks like a little pony

Daisy...I had a dog named Dallas and when I got Daisy, I wanted to give her a name that started with the same letter. However, if I would have waited to find out her personality, I wouldn't have named her Daisy. Abby is my other one and I just thought she looked like an Abby. Of course now, she whines when i get home so I call her Gabby Abby.

I have 7 dogs right now:
Cane Corso/Pitt mix - Sigmound. After Sigmound Freud Cause he was a mental case when we first got him and my ex wanted to call him Psycho but I thought that would be not a good idea with him being pitty.
Rain - Basset/Lab X We were fostering her and her original name was Susie and I didnt like it, the day she came to us was a huge rain storm and she didnt want to come in out of the rain from being couped in a kennel all her life.
Indiana - Aussie/Coyote Mix - She got her name from my nephew who loved Indiana Jones movies. I was stumped on a name for her so he said Indiana and it stuck.
Angus - Cardigan Welsh Corgi - Cause my ex is a fanatic about Monty Python and the Flying Circus and one of his favorite skits was about a Welsh man named Angus Podgourny. He begged to call him Angus.
Morgan - Cardigan Welsh Corgi - She was suppose to be Briar, but none of my family liked the name.. So my mom suggested a province in wales called Morgandy. Morgan for short.
Casablanca - Moroccan Street dog, cause i saved her from the streets of Morocco on a vacation in downtown Casablanca. Thought it was a fitting name for her.
Peekaboo - Coonhound X. Got her name from YA answers. I suggested she was very shy and very quiet but sweet, someone suggesting Peekaboo and I picked that. It suits her perfect, We call her Peeka or Boo which ever comes out at the time.

All of these are fancy purebred show names of course! RN is a title earned by my boxer it means Rally Novice. I love coming up with show names, it is similar to thourough bred horse racing names!!

My dogs name is peppi as in Joe in Spanish, and Italian. But we actually named him this because her has salt and pepper coloring, mainly black. But pepper is too common of a name hence the name peppi.

I named my dog after whiskey, it's my favorite drink, why not have it be my favorite dog? And she IS my favorite, she's an American Stafforshire Pitbull Terrier and is the sweetest dog out of all the dogs, that I have ever owned.
