At least once a week I see the dog running in the street almost getting hit by a car, and they don't even care.

when I let her out immediately she takes off runnning I yell and scream (daisy come back) and she wont listen i have caged her for it spanked her and even told her she was bad and it's still not working. I dont want to spank her anymore cause it hurts me as much as it does her... so does anyone have any ideas on what I can do too help this problem i dont want too take her on a leash I want her too do this on her own if possible have manners to listen when i ask her to do somthing i have alot of patience so if u could jus give me some advice at to handle this maybe a different approach as to what i am doing..

My 9 month old Chiwhawha puppy, Mika, is having pups. she already poped 1 out but is pacing, heavy breathing, no contractions for 20 mins, i see a foot wit no sack around it sticking out of her vagina but i dont want to pull, mom is not letting other pup (female) drink milk... what do i do?X-Ray shows she is gona have 4 pups,i cant let them die. i I cant afford too much vet bill. i called my vet and they arent open.

also, my 11 month old yorki, Stella, is in labour and she just popped out 1 male. she has another 2 pupsin her, what should i do? i cant go and leave stella and her son at home.I'm scared for my Chiwhawha, what if the pup that wants to come out, cant? Oh and is it OK for stella To her her puppies placenta?it smells and is green - is it safe?

I'm asking because this is my first time breeding, they are purebreds and i will have them both spayed after this litter. Please NO rude or hateful comments. And yes, all my dogs are ch. bloodlines and Mika has won 2 titles!

I want to import my dog from the US to asutralia and there is a rabies test required for teh approval process of the application...i want to have it done well ahead of time to make sure that the quarantine center wont run out of room for my dog when its time to leave the country...the test must be done at least 4 weeks afetr a rabies shot was administered...my dog had his last vaccine nov 2006 so is due again nov 2007..i want to leave aug 2008..can i get the rabies shot administered before nov 2007? or will ithave harmfull side effects to get it done too soon? I dont want to risk my dog not being able to go to asutralia with me when i leave (i'm on a work visa here and it runs out in sep 08 so i will have to leav ethe country i cant extend my stay)...and i dont want my dog to spend over 30 days in quarantine either ...if the test is done 150 + days befoer arrival in aust the dog will stay min 30 days in quarantine...135 days = 45 days quarantine etc up to 115 days quarantine

i am aware of the health problems with these dogs concerning their hips and that to much exercise can effect them in later life as their bones are still growing.

I have a 3 & half year old female rottweiler that I need to find a home for and I would like to know if anyone was interested or has information on where I can find a place to put her up for adoption. I got my dog from a coworker and got no background except that shes purebreed . Everytime I try to get her to go outside she squirms away and pees wherever how do I stop this ? shes really sweet just too nervous or maybe anxious ? This is my 1st dog in life. He is already 12+ human years. Friends told me it is about time. I am kinda worried and sad to hear that. My dog is very healthy except the cherry eyes operation he had when he was 1 and that cost me $1000+. Other than that, perfect!
Recently I tried to run with him outside and noticed that he could only walk! Should I prepare and ..... :( ????? He sleeps at home all the time (looks depressed to me). Would a new little Spaniel cheer him up a little? Will that help usually? PLease share your experience with your COCKER SPANIEL with me? Thanks

The dangerous dogs act in the UK bans certain breeds in the country.
These animals cannot be owned or bred or sold.
They are 'apparently' so dangerous that everybody is at risk.
ANY dog can be vicious! ANY dog can turn against its owners and bite the hand that feeds it!
Whether it is a chuihuahua or a pit bull doesnt matter.
A dog is an animal, trained admitedly but still an animal.

SHOULD THE DANGEROUS DOGS ACT ENCOMPASS ALL BREEDS, ALONG WITH THE OWNERS, FOR BEHAVIOUR RATHER THAN BLOODLINE?

Yay! We've been waiting on this for 3 months now. His female came in a while back and a "mutt" got to her and she had to have a shot to get rid of any puppies (if there were any). Now we're gonna have babies. Any idea when?

I have a miniature pinscher (I think I spelled that right) mix, and he eats everything! I alwways try my best to put stuff up, but he always manages to get to it.

My parents really don't care about it, unless he does something that makes them mad, but if he does something naughty, they'll leave it up to me.

Apparently, my year old puppy got into a pack of gum and ate the WHOLE thing. It was out of the plastic wrapper but he got into the cardboard box thing. What do I do? I don't know if he ate the wrapper or just the gum or all of it, and I'm scared he's not going to be able to eat, or be really constipated.

I just walked out to the living room and saw the empty box on the floor and asked my dad. My dad simply replied with "I dunno *shrug* shoulda put it away"

i have a black female spaniel with awesome qualities very little to chose from in the area as far as studs.The breeder has 1 male that is her grandfather I know is a nono but I've heard you can go back 1 generation and pull out great qualities.There are no bad ones in these dogs to pull so I'm not worried there.
