Yay! We've been waiting on this for 3 months now. His female came in a while back and a "mutt" got to her and she had to have a shot to get rid of any puppies (if there were any). Now we're gonna have babies. Any idea when?

63 days is the average. The vet can give more definite times if needed - a fall in temperature indicates birth within 24 hours. The vet can also meaure blood hormones (Relaxin) or use Ultrasound to confirm if she is in pup.

Around 63 days to give or take a few days and if you take your dog to the vet to make sure everything is OK and that she is on track they will be able to give you more information that you need, and things you should know.
My advice would be if you plan to breed a dog do as much research into it as possible.

63 days from Sunday! They can go sometimes a week before or a week after! Start checking her temperature about a week before the 63rd day. Any drop in that means that she is getting ready to have the puppies! Good Luck!!

Why are you breeding if you dont even know how long the gestation of a dog is? be ashamed. It should be one of the first things you learn. Bringing up a litter of puppies is not easy or cheap. And shouldn't be done by people who dont know what they are doing. I could call you all sorts of abusive names..but its not worth it..i feel for the poor dog and her pups...

My dogs knows my sons name. I ask her to find Oskar and she runs to him. It's probably because he's only a toddler and I'm constantly saying his name, and were at home most of the day so she's hearing me call his name a lot :)
