Okay, you see, I KNOW THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR HER. But every time I tell her no my husband gives her it anyway! I try to tell him that it can kill her, he wont listen. I try to teach her to leave the room when we eat but she wont listen when he's home. I'll give an example: When we get donuts she gets her own serving. When we get pizza she gets her own slice if not 2. What should I do to get him...and his dad...to QUIT KILLING HER WITH THIS HUMAN FOOD!!??

So I've been doing research, but every site seems to say something different. Bascially I live in a large two bedroom apartment, and I want to get a puppy. I know that small dogs are the best for apartments, but I just don't like them. Are there any large dogs that would do okay in one? There is large spaces around the place for me to walk it and exersize it, but I just don't want to coop a dog up that would be unhappy in an apartment. Please help!

A friend of mine with two boys recently separated with the boy's dad having been together over 15 years and moved into a new place. For the past week or so, their dog has continually gone outside and pulled all the garbage out and scattered around the yard. We think he is acting out of anger due to the breakup of his family. How do you correct this? I advised my friend to put her garbage in the shed and lock it up. He is a good dog and has behaved like this before. What can she do to help her dog and make it better for everyone? Thanks!

My dog is a very good dog, and he never chews anything so whenever i leave the house i dont lock him up..however, when i came home today i found he had chewed up some cedarwood, and apparently ate some because i found some puke-wood on the floor, now his stomach is repeatedly making strange noises..is cedar harmful to dogs?

I have an Akita-Shepard mix, he's super friendly & loves small dogs, he is very, very gentle, his best friend is a kitten next door, they just sit & love on each other & when they play well he pretty much just licks him to death while the kitten tries to tear his eyes out...lol.

We do a lot of hiking which will be fine for a small dog because I can just slip him in my pack like a baby if needed but I prefer he use his own 4 legs most of the time. Currently she would just be around me & my dog but my boyfriend will be coming home & we plan on getting married. So my family will be expanding in about 7years or so. But the dog would be around lots of children now because well little kids just seem to migrate to my house. I want a small dog because well I live in the city & I don't want to large breed dogs & my boy needs some companionship.

I just got my puppy on new years. And he is the sweetest little thing but he likes to bite your feet when you walk around barefoot. If you put socks on, he waits till you sit down. I just dont know what to do.
